Insecurities

Chapter Sixteen

Harrys POV:

     I wipe the remainder of my tears away as I cluch my stomach, my friends look at me like I'm crazy for laughing at my own joke for so long but in my defense it was really good. For the most part everything has gone back to the way it was before. I can still see their disapproving glances but over time they become less often. I was able to sit most of them down and explain everything. Everything from me sleeping around all the way to Bailey. I know they don't see me the same anymore but that's to be expected. The thought of Louis being so quick to protect the brunette still doesn't sit right with me and apparently Miranda feels the same way. She told me that since the day at Nialls she has seen Bailey twice, both times she accompanied Louis. Miranda's been quick to tell me that they've been holding hands quite a bit and Louis came dangerously close to kissing her on the lips when he kissed her cheek. Truth be told I really don't think she's good enough for him and I think he's in the middle of a brain lapse.

"You're an idiot." Niall laughs and I smile at him. That boy still a mystery to me, I always wonder what he sees in Miranda. What draws him in or what he sees when he looks at her that makes me smile. She's my friend, and she makes him happy but I don't understand how two people find each other or how they feel when they do.

"Boys, you go on in ten. Where is Louis?" Marco asks us with his head popped through the door. I look around and Lou is in fact nowhere in sight. I think about him being late because he's with Bailey and I hate her for stealing my best mate.

"He texted me saying he'll be here soon."  Liam ensures and Miranda looks at me probably thinking the same thing as I am. Before long Louis comes into the room dragging the cause of his tardiness along with him. She practically glides around the room hugging people but what really surprises me is that she goes into hug Miranda. I guess with everything Miranda has told me the pair don't get along very well. It's quick and there's a lot of space when they do embrace but Bailey has the same smile on her face when she moves on to Niall.  When she's done with him she makes her way to me and I'm much too dumbfounded to reject her so I wrap my arms around her lightly. I continue to watch her as she prances over to Louis and takes his hand again. Within those very short minutes the duo do a lot to piss me off. Louis whispers something in her ear and her nose crinkles, she covers her mouth booming laughter emits from the small girl. His nose trails up from her jawline to her ear lobe whispering something else a coy smile spread across her face as she blushes. He kisses her bare shoulder apparently neither of them have issues with PDA. Enjoy my sloppy seconds Tommo. They keep on with their hushed words before the Louis captures her lips in his, someone passed me a bin to throw up in.

"Are you two dating?" Miranda asks with distaste and I wish she never asked. Bailey looks towards him uncertain.

"We are, what's it to you?" Louis asked in the same tone Bailey eyes shift to me and I see so much in her brown orbs. In this moment she reminds me of herself before the change, she looks scared and vulnerable.  I keep her gaze soaking all this in while it lasts because I know for a fact that she'll change back any moment now.

"Alright boys, time to go." Marco says as I come back to reality. I see that Marco has disrupted the heated exchange between Louis and Miranda. Louis kisses Bailey again and I barely repress my gag.

"Behave. " Niall  speak pointing at Miranda. We leave the girls and Lou get patted on the back by our friends.

"When did that happen?" Liam asks causeing Louis to smile like a schoolgirl.

"Saturday." Simple but I need to know the details. How is this going to affect me getting the forgiveness I crave?

"You could've given Liam and I a chance to get in there." Zayn jokes and Louis slaps him on the back of his head laughing.
