Chapter 7

Hopes pov

I wake up and hear crying. I look to see y/n looking like she was having. A nightmare, I quickly get up and go over to her. I gently shake her but she's crying and whimpering still. I shake her harder and she finally opens her eyes.

"You okay kiddo?" I ask

I can see her eyes start to water again so I pull her into my arms and she cries in my chest. I rub her back trying to calm her down. I pull my phone out and text Alex and Tobin to come up. I hear a knock on the door a few minutes later.

"It's open" I say

Alex and Tobin walk in while I'm still holding y/n in my arms. She has stopped crying by now and she was trying to get her breathing in control.  Soon she pulls away from me and mumbles a sorry

Your pov

I pull away from hope once I'm fully calm. I say sorry to her and wipe my eyes. I had the scariest dream ever.

Nightmare

We played Germany and won the game 2-1. Brazil  and Canada played for the bronze and Canada won. We played Germany again to see who got gold and silver.

We just got finished playing Germany. We won with the score of 3 -1. Carli scored the first goal and Alex scored with an assist from Tobin. I scored the winning goal .It was a rough and good game.

We all headed back to the locker room. We were all changing so we can go to the medal ceremony  when I hear a voice.

"Y/n l/n" says the voice

We look up to see a man in a mask with an automatic rifle weapon.

He points the gun at me.

" guys run" I say

"Are you crazy?" Says Carli

"We're not going anywhere" says Hope

"Go now" I say

"Guys we need to get help." Says Alex

The team takes off running while he shoots at us. Thankfully missing all of us. I see Tobin and Alex take off into a different room and hope and Carli in another. I hear the gun go off and someone screams.

I hide behind a wall and hear someone running down the hall. I quickly grab the person and put my hand over their mouth. It was Mallory. I let her go and she hugs me.

"Go hide behind the door" I whisper to her. She listens and walks quietly and hides behind the door.

"Y/n" says the voice again. He's close. I hear the gun go off twice and I hear two different screams.

I run into a different room and see Hope, Alex and Tobin. Alex was bleeding from her arm and Tobin was bleeding from her thigh. Alex was keeping pressure on Tobin's  leg and Hope was wrapping Alex's arm.

"Try to get in the closet" I say quietly

I help them in the closet and shut the door and go back to the door  as the door burst open. I walk back as the man comes in.

"Y/n y/n y/n" the voice says

"What do you want?" I ask

"It's not what I want, it's what your father wants and he wants you to suffer."  He says pointing the gun at me.

I hear the gun go off and I feel a sudden pain in my arm.

"Oops I missed let's try that again" he says

The gun goes off again and I feel a pain in my side.
I look down and see my once white jersey now turning red. I look back up and the gun goes off again this time it hits my thigh. I fall to my knees not being able to keep my own weight anymore. He shoots at me again this time in the chest. I fal to the ground and He walks out of the room. I can feel blood coming out of my mouth. I'm dying.

The door opens and Hope comes to my side.

"Y/n stay with me." she says

I stare at Hope while she is trying desperately to stop the bleeding on my chest. Alex is also trying to stop the bleeding. Tobin is holding my hand.

"Squeeze my hand y/n"she says and I squeeze her hand. It was weak but I was squeezing her hand.

"Y/n keep your eyes open for me." Says hope

"Alex go get help! Try to find dawn" says Tobin.

I see Alex take off and run to go find someone. The door opens and Arod and Kelley walk in

"Oh my God" says Kelley.

"Alex went to get paramedics. The guy shot himself."  Says Arod

"I hope everyone's okay" says Hope

"So far it's y/n, Alex, and me that I know if that's hurt.* Says Tobin

I can feel my grip starting to loosen and Tobin looks at me.

Y/n come on keep squeezing my hand says Tobin

Jill and Dawn walk through and dawn picks Tobin up and moves her away. More trainers come in to help.  I close my eyes and hear

no no y/n! Open your eyes! Y/n!

End of nightmare

After telling them about my dream we all went down and got breakfast. After we were done Coach told us to go get our bags. We boarded the bus after a while and warmed up before heading into the locker room. Today's the semi finals against Germany if we won today we will be in the finals to play for Gold. I'm so nervous.

No ones pov

The game has started and USA has taken the lead with an amazing header In the first 20 minutes of the game! Germany scored in the 45th minute of the game. The ref signaled half and we all we to locker room. Jill gave us a pep talk and then we walked back out. Tobin nutmegged someone on Germany's team and passed it to Alex. Alex passed it back to Tobin who tries to score but the goalie punches it away and Alex was able to get there and send the ball flying in the back of Germany's net. Alex jumped into Tobin's arms and the stadium chanted USA.

"Let's go!" Yells Alex

Alex kicked me the ball and and it was just me and the goalie. I wasn't paying attention and I kicked the ball sending it to the net. The goalie was off her line and we slammed into eachother, both of us hitting the ground hard. (Watch the video) (you can just watch the first 15-20 seconds) .

She rolled onto side holding her stomach and I stayed on the ground. Alex and Tobin run up to me. (Note: I know that happened to Alex but in this story it happened to you)

"Are you okay?"She asks

"Did I score?"I ask

"You just knocked and you care about if you scored or not?" Asks Tobin

I just nod

"Yes you scored"says Alex

"Hell yes" I say

The ref signals for the trainers to come on and I get helped up. I walk with the trainers off the feild so I can get looked at. Jill told me to sit out for the rest of the game. Mallory went on for me and the game ended 10 minutes later. We won 3-1.

We all went out to dinner to celebrate our win. After that we all headed to bed. I was laying in bed and realized something. That's exactly how we won in my dream!
