We start of victory tour from the Olympics this week and I'm excited to be back with the team. We are flying to Rochester, New York tomorrow morning. We are playing Costa Rica. I'm excited to get back with the national team. I'm currently packing and making sure I have everything I need while I Skype Hope from my laptop.

Hope and I talk everyday and she's been a great help with everything going on. She's always so supportive of me and I really appreciate it. We are both just talking about random stuff while packing.

"Hey what are you wearing for the flight tomorrow?" I ask

"I was just going to wear my joggers and a hoodie, what about you?" She asks

I was think of wearing one of my black lulu lemon running pants with my grey sweater. I respond while grabbing a pair of my favorite Nikes and putting them in my suitcase.

"I feel like I'm missing something" I say

"Do you have your toothbrush and toothpaste? Brush? Mouthwash? Socks? Cleats? Shin guards?" Asks Hope

"Yeah I have all of that my cleats socks and shin guards are in my duffle bag". I respond trying to think of what else I need. Then it's like a light goes off in my head.

"Oh! My other brace! Thanks Hope!" I say going to my duffle bag and grabbing my brace and making sure my duffle bag is ready to go also.

"Oh you wouldn't want to forget that! No problem! Glad I could help even though you really didn't need help." She responds with a light chuckle.

"Okay I'm finished packing" I say

"I just finished too" she says zipping up her suit case.

"How's Kelley?" I ask

"She's great! I know she can't wait to see you! I think everyone is excited to see you". She responds laughing.

That's good! Are you two still just friends? I ask

"What do you mean are we still just friends? Of course we are still friends". She asks

"You know what I'm talking about Hope" I say

"Okay fine, yes we are still just friends" she mumbles quietly but I can still hear her.

"Is the badass Hope Solo afraid?" I ask

"No, I'm not afraid" she says more as a question then a statement.

My smile soon drops and I sit down in front of the computer.

It's okay to be scared Hope. I say

"I'm just worried it would ruin our friendship." She responds playing with her fingers

"The whole team can see how much you love each other! The only people who don't see it is you and Kel." I respond

"But what if Kel doesn't like my past? Or what if she" - "Hope" I say cutting her off. She looks at me letting me know I can continue.
