I'm guessing your all here for Y/n L/n he says

We all nod

Well, Y/n made it through surgery. We were able to remove the bullets. The bullet that hit her arm has caused some nerve damage. I don't know if she will be able to use her arm ever again. The bullet that entered in her chest cavity successfully missed her heart. The bullet that entered her side also had no damage. She's very lucky. The only thing is she is currently in a coma. We don't know if or when she will wake up. You may see her in the morning unless your family. One person is allowed to stay with her. He says

"She has no one else, We are her family". Says Hope

"One of you can stay. You can visit her tomrrow between 8 am and 9 pm." He says

"I'll stay" says Hope

"Okay, keep us posted"says Alex.

"Girls we have to go to the Medal ceremony first. The other teams leave tomorrow morning. I know it's going to be hard to do this without y/n but we have to be strong for her." Says Coach Jill

"Yes coach" we all say

We all head back to arena. We got our warm up clothes on and Alex helped me into mine. After that I crutches with the team as we stood up at the podium. One by one we all got our medals. The spot between Alex and Mallory was empty.

We all grabbed each others hands as they said her name. Most of us cried, the announcer played your national Anthem which only made us cry more. After everyone got their medals the announcer continues to talk.

"We would like to take a moment of silence for y/n l/n. She was injured in a deadly shooting along with two other United States players. Our hearts go out to l/n's family and friends at this time. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you."Says the announcer

The stadium went silent, I swear if someone sneezed, you would be able to hear it. It was that quiet.

After that we all exited the arena and grabbed our stuff going to the locker rooms. Most of us are on the phones with our loved ones letting them know we are okay of course my parents were notified already because of me being in the hospital. Every social media you could think of had the something about the shooting. It was also on the news.
#prayforY/n #weloveyouuswnt and
#usastrong are currently trending on Twitter and Instagram.

After we dropped Hope off at the hospital the bus driver took us back to the hotel. Alex walked with me back to our room. No one really talked. It was probably the quietist we have ever been.

Hopes pov

I'm sitting here next to y/n holding her hand. I watch her chest rise and fall peacefully. She looked better then earlier. I'm beating myself up for not just grabbing her and keeping her in the closet with us. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if I did that. Maybe she wouldn't be this injured.

I grab y/n's hand and pull out her Gold Medal.

This is for you kiddo. I say as I'm laying it on her stomach for a few seconds. I then put it in my bag.

The nurse comes in with a bed and blankets. She checks y/n's Vitals and then writes them down. She then turns to me.

"Any signs of waking up?" She asks

I shake my head no.

"Okay, thank you."she says
