One Team One Fight

Chapter 3 -

My phone rings and I look at it. It was Hope. I decide to Anwser

"Hey Hope." I say

"Hey kiddo how are you holding up." She asks

I just break down crying

"What's wrong?" She asks in a concerned voice

"She's gone their all gone" I say sobbing.

"Where are you?" She asks

I'm in y/s (your state and city) at a hotel" you say

"I'll be there in a few hours" she says and hangs up before I can even object.

Hope's pov

We are all messing around on our field and I decided to see how y/n was doing. I pulled my phone out and called her

"Hey hope" she says

"Hey kiddo how are you holding up?"  I ask

I then hear her start crying and it breaks my heart.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Their gone their all gone " she sobs into the phone

"Where are you?" I  ask

She tells me the state and city and that she's staying at a hotel

"I'll be there In a few hours". I say hanging up

"What's wrong?" Asks Alex

"Y/n's mom didn't make it. She shouldn't be alone right now I'm flying to to be with her". I say

Jill just nods

"Call us we will all fly out if she needs us." Says Crystal

"Yeah we're family now" says Tobin

"I will" I say

"Go pack Hope"  says Jill

"I will" she says

I run off to pack and schedule the first flight I can get. Crystal and Tobin drive me to the airport. I board when my flight is called.

*hours later*

I wake up to a call. I check the time and it's 6 am. I see its Hope

"Hello?" I ask

"Hey kiddo I need the address to your hotel"  she says

I give her the address and then she says thank you and hangs up.

I stay awake and wait for her to get here.

Soon I got a text asking what room I was in and I told her

There was a knock on the door and I opened it and she hugged me. I let everything out it was like I couldn't hold it back. She held me close while I cried.

After a while I stopped.

Hope helped me plan everything out.

Money was raised to help with the costs and there was some help by my aunts and uncles that were still in Italy. The rest of the team came to the funeral to support me.

*skipping funeral and a few weeks *

The day after the funeral we all went back to Seattle for training. I've been quieter since the funeral.

"alright ladies great job today!" Says Jill

I found an apartment close by the rest of the team. We are leaving for the olympics in about a week so we have been practicing non stop.
