Josh and Zoey had spent the rest of the day together after the date. He didn't care where they were or what they did as long as he was with her. They were walking back to the house. Josh dropped the car off earlier so Zoey and him could take a walk.

On the sidewalk Josh twirled Zoey then pulled her into a hug kissing her head. She giggled. "You're so cute." Zoey smiled. "Not as cute as you." He winked. "You dork." She smirked. A little boy ran past them. Josh looked at him and his eyes widened. He looked just like the boy from his nightmare. Josh shook his head trying to forget it. Coincidence. He thought. Josh held Zoey's hand as they continued walking and laughing. Zoey was making jokes about how Josh was probably an alien because he was too perfect.

As they laughed a piece of paper flew into the street followed by the sound of a boy crying. Josh didn't bother until Zoey stopped the boy and ran ahead. No. No. No. His mind shattered. The boy, the paper, the twirl, this street. It was all too familiar. Josh saw Zoey's phone fall out of her pocket and his heart stopped. Josh dropped his house keys and ran into the street after Zoey. She saw him and looked confused at his expression. He looked terrified.

Josh grabbed Zoey so quickly with such force. He picked her up and out of the street. "Josh!" She was taken by surprise. Josh grabbed her phone quickly and set her down. He hugged her tight. "Josh? What's wrong?" Zoey had a hunch. "This. All of it. Was my nightmare. When I twirled you. Then the boy. You ran after him. Your phone falling and you not knowing." Josh's breath staggered. "You ran back and that's when it happened. In the blink of an eye I lost you." He hugged her. Zoey smiled and wrapped her arms around Josh tight. No car came but if Josh hadn't grabbed her and there was a car, his nightmare could have been a reality. "Thank you Josh." She smiled. Josh put his forehead against hers. "Always." He kissed her.

Zoey grabbed his hand tight. She walked over with Josh handing back the paper to the boy. Zoey then decided to walk back. Even though she was safe, Josh still looked upset. He seemed paranoid. For the right reasoning. They got into the neighborhood when Zoey had an idea.

"Hey." She stopped. "What?" He looked at her. "Race you to the house." Zoey crossed her arms. "What?" He laughed. "Down this street and turn the corner right? Three houses down?" She asked. "Yeah." He smiled. "Let's do it. If you win I'd do what you want or something. If I win, you owe me, a pizza night." Zoey stuck her tongue out. "Deal." He smirked. "123 GO!" She ran. "That's dirty." He smirked and then ran after her. Zoey was faster than Josh thought. Josh went at full speed and ran past her in seconds. She was so shocked at how fast he was she stopped for a second. Zoey shook her head in disbelief that he already turned the corner. She ran after him trying to go faster.

When she turned the corner she didn't see him. Did he make it to the house already? She ran some more looking for Josh on the way when suddenly she heard someone yell and was grabbed from behind and spun around. Zoey gasped so loud. "Oh my god! Josh!" She gently pushed him. "You scared the shit out of me! I coulda hurt you!" Zoey was upset. Josh felt bad. "I'm sorry." He tried to hug her. Zoey turned away from him. "Zoe.." He frowned. Then Zoey smirked at him and ran. Josh smirked big and ran after her.

Zoey beat him to the house laughing. "That was mean." He panted walking into the driveway. "Says the guy who scared the life out of me." She laughed. "I really thought I upset you. I felt so bad." Josh pouted. "Awee Spook." She hugged him. "So pizza night huh?" He rubbed her back. "Mhm." She smiled. "You, me, cuddles , pizza, and movies." She held onto him. "Fair enough. I look forward to it." He smiled.

Josh pouted as he laid his head on her shoulder. "What's wrong?" She asked rubbing his arms. "I didn't win." He mumbled. "What was your winning prize?" She laughed. "You and a kiss." Josh said trying not to smile. "Well, maybe I can make an exception." She smiled. Josh stood up straight looking down at her. "Yeah?" He smirked. "Come here you dork." Zoey kissed him. Josh wrapped his arms around Zoey's waist firmly kissing her back. She put her arms around his neck pulling him closer as they got deeper into the kiss.
