The next morning Zoey woke up. She rolled over to look at the clock. It was 12:37 pm. As she sat up, she immediately checked her phone. To her surprise, Josh had never texted her. She went through her call log to see if maybe she had missed a call from him. She didn't. Zoey sat there letting her mind wander. "Maybe he doesn't like me? Maybe he fell asleep? Maybe he didn't wanna see her again?" She questioned. Zoey finally made herself get up and head to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth still thinking why he never texted her back. As she rinsed her mouth out and spit in the sink it came to her. "Oh my god...what if something happened to him?!" She ran over to her phone and pulled up his contact name. Inches away from the call button she stopped. "I shouldn't. He's fine. He probably just fell asleep." As she paced the bedroom her roommate barged in. "Hey! I'm sleeping! What are you doing in here running around?" The roommate yelled. "I'm sorry Lily..i'm just worried. Lily saw the panic in Zoey's face. "What's wrong Zoe?" She walked over to her. "Ok so remember that guy that dropped me off?" "Yeah the hot sounding one? What about him?" "He was supposed to text me back, but he never did." Zoey sat down on the bed. Lily laughed as she sat down next to her hugging Zoey. "It's not funny Lily! What if something happened to him?!" She pouted. "Zoey you're just being paranoid. He's fine. I'm sure he just crashed when he got home". Zoey's eyes widened. "No no no!! Wrong choice of words! I meant fell asleep, sorry." Lily corrected. "You're right. Im just being paranoid. Everything is gonna be ok." Zoey breathed. "Come on. Let's get you some coffee and you can tell me all about your little date with him before Jade gets here." Lily got up and headed for the door. "It wasn't a date and didn't you just see her?" Zoey asked. "Hey. She's my girlfriend, I can never see her enough." Lily winked. "Now come on. Brush that purple rats nest and come downstairs." She smirked. "You're such a bitch" Zoey laughed. "But you're the Queen."Lily laughed as she shut the door. Zoey smiled and did so. She brushed her hair and headed downstairs.

"Sooo what did you guys do?" Lily jumped onto the couch. "Well he gave me back my sketchbook and invited me out to Taco Bell with his friend. Then -" "Wait he had a friend with him? Gay?" Lily cut off. "Noooo, well, I don't think he is but that was his best friend. Tyler is his name." "Tyler and Josh, ohhh like twenty-one pilots! Nice names." Lily laughed. "Right" Zoey laughed. "Well when do I get to meet him?" Lily questioned. "Soon" "ok go on" "So I said yes and his friend ended up having to leave because his wife needed him. Josh was nice enough to pay for everything. Oh my gosh Lily he was amazing. We talked for hours. It felt like the whole world stopped and it was just us. We talked about space and music and so much." Zoey smiled. "He sounds perfect." Lily hugged her. "I hope you're going out again."Lily winked at her. "Me too" Zoey laughed.

There was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Zoey got up. "Kayy" Lily smiled. Zoey opened the door to reveal Jade going through her purse. "Heyyy" Jade winked. "Come on it boo" Zoey laughed. "JADE!!" Lily jumped into her arms. "Hey babe!" Jade kissed her cheek. "So what's up guys?" Jade asked. Jade was Lily's long term gf. They've been together for two years now and it was amazing. Zoey met the blue eyed girl years ago at a panic! concert. They talked alot and Zoey introduced her to Lily. It was like love at first site. "Welll Zoey has a bf!" Lily pointed. "Oh my god whooo?" "No I don't! He's just a friend." Zoey looked away. "For now." Jade and Lily laughed. "Do you mind if I steal your roommate for abit?" Jade hugged Lily tight. "I don't know" Zoey sang. "Awe please mom?" Lily pouted. "Fine but be safe and have her back preferably before 2am." "Ok that was one time" Lily argued. "No sass" Zoey pointed and laughed. "Have fun guys."

As the couple danced their way out and shut the door, Zoey plopped onto the couch and turned on the TV. She scrolled through the TV guide looking for something to watch. Eventually she found something and changed to it. Zoey laid there watching American Horror Story eating her ramen, 43 minutes in her phone went off. She put down her food and immediately went to check, hoping it was Josh, she checked her messages. It was just Lily.

As Zoey sets her phone down, all she can think about is Josh. As she continues to watch the show it goes off again. "Lily what now?" She grabs her phone and her eyes grow big.

Josh❤: heyy! Sry I nvr texted back last night! I got caught up gaming with Tyler and fell asleep on the couch.

Zoey quickly got up to get dressed. She didn't want see him in her PJs so she ran upstairs to get dressed. Zoey threw on a pair of black skinnies and a red tank top. She looked in the mirror, "I look like shit!", Zoey grabbed her eyeliner and mascara. As she quickly finished her, Zoey grabbed her brush and fixed her hair. Before she could decide whether to put it up the door bell rang. Zoey ran down the stairs almost falling before she caught herself. "Slowly" she thought. It rang again. She opened the door to see a smiley Josh with squinty eyes. "Hey!" He greeted waving. "Hey! Come on in!" She backed up. Josh walked inside and turned around. "You look great." "Thanks Josh, you too." She smiled. He started to blush and turned back around. "Nice place." "Thanks." "So what happened with your roommate?" "Oh Lily? She's fine. Called me because the internet went out." Zoey sighed. "6 times?" Josh laughed. "Yeah. That's Lily for you. But I love her. I've known her since I was 18." She smiled. "Awe that's great. How old are you if you don't mind me asking." "I'm 26, I'll be 27 this year. She's 22. We met at a birthday party." Zoey smiled. "Oh nice. I'm 27, I'll be 28 real soon." Josh threw up his arms. "Ooo party" Zoey laughed. "Well come come sit." She sat on the couch. Josh accompanied her and put his phone on the table. "So" he rubbed his thighs "what are we watching?" He asked. "America Horror Story" she replied. "Never seen it" Josh looked at the tv. Zoey nearly choked on her drink. "What?!?!!" She gasped. "Careful! And yeah I'm sorry." He laughed. "Oh no no no no no." Zoey grabbed the remote and turned on Netflix. "Season 1 here we come. You're gonna love it!!" She gently hit his arm. "Great. I'm excited!" He smiled. As Zoey got more comfortable watching it. Josh couldn't help but stare at her. She was beautiful. Zoey looked over and caught Josh staring. He quickly looked at the tv blushing. "Creepy opening. I-i like it."Josh drummed on his legs. Zoey blushed. "I know right."

Five hours later
"I don't know about him Zoe." "Josh what are you talking about?!" "I just.. something seems off about him. I mean, ok, come on. How come we never see where Tate lives?" Josh exclaimed. "I see where you're going but you never know" Zoey a Lily walked in closing the door behind her. "Heyy i'm home!" Lily was hanging her jacket up. "Oh hey! This is Josh." Zoey and Josh stood up. "Hey nice to meet you" he smiled. Lily turned around and her eyes were as big as the moon. She dropped her bag. "J-josh?" She gasped. "Uh yeah this is him." Zoey replied. Josh looked confused. "Z-zoe can I speak to you real quick?!" Lily grabbed her into the bathroom. "Hang on Josh!" Zoey yelled. "Ok"

"Zoey! What the fuck!" Lily freaked. "What so wrong with you!?" "That's Josh motherfucking Dun!!" She jumped. "Who?" Zoey was confused. "JOSH DUN FROM TWENTY-ONE PILOTS!!!" Lily freaked. "W-what?" She asked. Zoey and Lily were huge fans of tøp but Zoey had never paid much attention to what they look like. She saw them once on some article years ago. The rest they had masks on. "You're lying." Zoey pushed her. "No I'm not!!" Lily pulled up google images and searched for "josh dun". She showed Zoey. "Oh my god."
