Continuum (Finding my way back)

Butterfly

Kiera walks into a diner and settles in to eat breakfast before work starts. And Suddenly Kellog a group member who now isn't  involved with liber8 anymore walks into the diner and sits across from Kiera giving her a bright naughty smile.
"What do you want the most?" Kellog questioned. Kiera stays quiet for a few seconds" why are you here Kellog" she asked as she pointed her gun at him underneath the table as Kellog held a bomb in his pocket.
"Do I have to have a reason?" He questioned. "I can't just say your beautiful face dragged me here" Kiera rolled her eyes.
"I know where they are.... Liber8" Kellog said as Kiera listened.
"And why can I trust you?" Kiera questioned as Kellog smirked.
"Why would I betray you" Kellog said as Kiera sighed.
Kellog ordered a cupcake and randomly offered it to Kiera as she was getting up from her chair. "Thank you" she said sarcastically as she grabbed it and left.
While Kiera walked to work she gave the cupcake to a homeless man and continued her journey.
Kiera gets notified there was a killing near a building.
Carlos and her, both get sent to the building with no back up required. "Hands up" Carlos said as a man was caught about to kill Kellog.
"Where's the Protecter" the guy asked as Carlos looked back and Kiera wasn't there. Carlos not knowing how dangerous the guy was, jumped him as Kellog ran out the door.
Kiera walked into the room quickly as Carlos flies across the room. "Oh there you are protecter" he said as Kiera tilted her head. "Curtis" Kiera said as she looked at him angrily. Kiera let out a big yell with anger and she charged for him. After almost being defeated by Curtis, Kiera tends to find her gun right next to her as she lays painfully on the floor. She grabs the gun quickly and aims it right on Curtis. "You wouldn't dare" Curtis said as Kiera let herself do what was best for this future and shot Curtis leaving him breathless the second he fell onto the ground.
"Kiera!" Carlos called speeding toward her as she held her hand on her head and she closed her eyes tightly in pain.
"Are you okay?" Carlos asked as Kiera nodded her head. Carlos helped Kiera up and looked at her confused. "Who is he" Carlos said as Kiera looked down. "He is, well was from liber8" Kiera said as Carlos took out his phone and called the team.
Kiera walked out to the drive through with Carlos and went into the car. "Didn't know you can fight so well" Carlos said as Kiera looked down.
"Despite the fact that I almost got killed." Carlos said as Kiera chuckled.
"I helped okay.... And I well got thrown into a glass wall in the room which hurt very badly" Kiera said as Carlos smiled and began to drive.
"Oh I forgot to tell you something" Carlos said as Kiera looked at him confused. "That guy that was at the diner with you.... He was with That guy you killed, but then ran off"
Kiera's eyes widened "Kellog" she whispered.
Carlos dropped Kiera off a block away from her hotel. She just didn't want herself to seem homeless. As Kiera was walking to her room she sees the door open slightly. She takes out her gun from 2077 which she'll be using almost every day.... But only when she isn't seen in a public area. She slowly walks inside and finds a teenage boy, Alec. Know that Kiera has never met Alec face to face with her. Alec turned around afraid.
"Kiera"Alec said nervously.
"Who are you"Kiera questioned walking closer to Alec. Still with the gun aimed toward him.
"Whoa Kiera put the gun down. It's Alec, the voice inside your head..."Alec said as Kiera put her gun down and sighed in relieve. "Don't ever do that to me again" Kiera strongly demanded as Alec nodded his head.
"I just wanted to meet you..." He said as Kiera's eye brows knitted looking at him confused.
"You could've just asked" Kiera said as Alec squinted his eyes.
"And would that have worked"Alec questioned as Kiera rolled her eyes.
"No"she said as Alec chuckled.
"I have a way...to fix your CMR(chip)"Alec said as Kiera looked at him blissfully. "But it'll take a few days to finish...if that's alright"
Kiera sighed and nodded dolefully.
As a new day has begun Kiera's BOSS calls in and says "liber8 just killed 3 Lily's" Kiera lit up and she called for Alec.
"Alec that's my grandmothers name... They are trying to kill her"Kiera said nervously as she put her jacket on and left the hotel.
"How do you know for sure?" He questioned as Kiera chuckled.
"If he kills my grandmother my whole life would be in danger and I wouldn't exist."
Now that kiera knows they are trying to kill her grandmother.... She has to try to keep every lily in this city safe. But there is just one tiny problem. Kiera never met her grandmother, only thing she knows is that she was nice and sweet and had a butterfly tattoo on her wrist. So she needs to protect the one with the tattoo. Kiera found her grandmother and took her into her hotel. Her grandmother (Lily) isn't what she expected. She was pregnant of Kiera's mother at a young age and was into drugs.
"Can I just leave!"she cried in the bathroom as Kiera sat on her bed and sighed.
After a few minutes Kiera gave Lily a pregnancy test and it was positive. Lily came out the bathroom and sighed.
"You'll be a great mother and I know it. In fact that little girl in there will be the happiest baby ever" Kiera said as Lily looked at her confused.
"How do you know it's a girl?" She questioned as Kiera smiled.
"Just a guess" Kiera said as lily smiled back.
Kellog called Kiera 3 times but she kept hanging up. He called once more "are you gonna pick that up" lily questioned as kiera looked down at her phone and answered .
"kiera they have my mom" Kellog said nervously as Kiera's eyes widened.
"Who?" Kiera asked .
"Liber8,they said they'll give her back to me in exchange for your Grandmother" Kellog said as Kiera stood silent.
"I have a very very dangerous plan." Kiera said as Kellog chuckled and hung up.
As Kiera told lily the plan, lily freaked but decided to do it.
Kiera captured kagame's mother and put a hoody over her so that when they arrive to meet up with liber8, Kiera can easily get Kellogs Mother back, by putting a gun against Kagame's mothers head and make him release her. Kagame's mother is also pregnant of him. But one thing went wrong. We traded kagame's  and Kellogs moms but once liber8 drove off they shot his mother in the stomach. Kellog fell to his Knees and cried as Kiera stood shocked and so did Lily standing beside Kiera.
"I'm really sorry" Kiera said to Kellog. "Wait your still here" Kiera realized. When your mother dies and you aren't born yet, aren't you suppose to disappear. Well Kellog sure didn't. "If the plan works" ,Kellog said he promises to let lily and her boyfriend go to a far away safe place. And even though the plan didn't go as planed, he still was nice enough to help Them.
Lily and her boyfriend drifted away together waving goodbye.
"Thank you" Kiera said as Kellog smiled.
