You are not the first to have fallen for the coin.

There were countless before you.

They too had experienced what you are.

Only differently.

Some had dumped the coin as soon as they got the first letter.

Some had taken it to a pawn-shop to sell, but threw it away when disappointed.

I remember one man who had tried to melt it.

Then there was this girl who had gone to the police thinking I was some kind of freak.

You could have done any of these too.

You could have tried to do something new and submitted it to some museum.

But, no.

You had to keep getting all these mindless letters everyday.
