It was like getting hit on the head with a bat.
A heavy steel bat.
As soon as I realized what had happened to me, I got the worst headache imaginable.
I crouched on the floor clutching my head. Wishing for the pain to stop.
But it only got worse.
Suddenly, my eyes started to hurt.
Like someone was pushing them inside their sockets.
Then my whole body felt like that.
Like I was on fire.
Like something was trying to turn me inside out.
Like I was stuck between two walls.
I curled into a ball, screaming my lungs out, crying for help. But it was nothing but a waste.
I apologized continuously, to whom I don't know.
Why, I don't know.
But I apologized.
After, what felt like a lifetime, the pain started to fade.
My vision started getting darker.
I started to lose my senses.
I couldn't see, touch, smell or even hear.
The last thing I saw was the bright, wicked twinkling of the coin.
And then there was nothing.
This is how I faded away.
