It looked exactly as it is now.

The size of a bottle-cap, pretty thick for a regular coin. It was golden and gleaming with some dust stuck in the intricate designs on it that seemed as if they were carved painstakingly by hand for hours.

Now I realize why you took it so happily. Who wouldn't?

Without thinking anything, I picked it up.

Looked around to see if there was someone who could've dropped it.

But, there was no one. Except for a tabby cat, who seemed too busy rummaging the trashcans.

The street was completely deserted. Not even one car or soul within sight.

Seemed like there was some kind of cyclone alert and everyone was hidden in their houses thinking they would be safe.

So, I did what I shouldn't have done.

I kept it.
