Today was a shocking day. Like literally.

So my last resource of information turns out to be my history teacher. Too predictable. But the woman seems to know more about coins than actual history. Whenever she gets anything related to coins, she starts talking about it. Which metal was used. What the symbol means. Everything only about coins.

So, today after class, I showed her a picture of the coin. For the first time , I was shocked to see her reaction. She didn't start babbling about it instantly. In fact, she seemed shocked on her own. Like she recognized it.

She was like "Dear girl, how did you find it?"

Never in so many years I had seen her being polite to anyone and here just because of a coin I had become 'Dear girl'. Shocking.

After I told her about the coin I asked what did she know about it. But she denied it. She said she knew nothing about it, which was a complete, visible lie. I could understand it from her face. She seemed so shocked and sad and scared. She looked at me with so much sorrow in her eyes. I almost pleaded to her for telling me something, but still she refused.

But when I was about to leave she told me not to stop writing. I decided not to press any further. So I thanked her and left.

It was weird. The way she reacted when she saw the photo of the coin . She clearly recognized it, But still she refused to say anything. And then she told me not to stop writing.

I don't think I should bug her anymore. After all she is my teacher and if I irritate her, it might affect my marks.

I hope you understand.
