"You and Jeongguk seemed to hit it off tonight!" I say in a teasing tone as we walk into our apartment.
Minji looks at me with a "Don't start" face. "what?! You would make a great couple." I say and raise my hands up in defence.
She punches me on the arm and starts her protest. "We aren't, and never will be a couple."
"Mmmmmmhhhmmmm!"
"Stop it! I don't want a boyfriend! I've got too much to worry about. I've got way better, and more important things to do."
"Whatever you say, Minji. You love him. I know it" I say in a matter-of-fact kind of tone.
"Whatever you say, Jimin. I'll let you be wrong." I can tell shes annoyed. Maybe I should stop pushing it? No, its fine. Plus, it's funny to watch her get mad.
"I know I'm right! Lie all you want!"
"I'm not lying!" She's so amusing.
She tries to grab my wrist, but I run to our room and hide behind the bed.
"If mom knew you were grabbing me, you'd be in so much trouble!" We call my mom our mom, since Minji's mom isn't around anymore. My mom pretty much raised Minji, anyway.
Minji runs into the room, and flops on the bed. "I can't hear you, I'm asleep."
I get up, and lay on the bed softly. "Good, me too."
" Hey, just so you know, I like him." I say, to comfort her.
"Jeongguk?"
"Yep."
....
"Good."
I opened my eyes for a moment, and I could see the natural smile on Minji's face.
