(Jimin's pov)

"Please stay with Jungkook again."

One week later

"Please stay with Jungkook."

Two weeks later

"Please don't leave him alone."

Three weeks later

"Just one more night."

Four weeks,
Five weeks,
Six weeks,

Again, again, again, and again.

"Please stay the night with Jungkook."

Week, after week, after week.

"Please don't go out tonight."

And once again, I'm stuck with a choice; Should I stay or should I go? Should I leave him here on his own? I don't want to stay, because every night that I stay, I'm lying there, worried he'll hear me.

"Okay, just for tonight, one more time. But after this, he needs to go back to sleeping on his own. Okay?" I say sternly to Namjoon in front of me.

I open the door to Jungkook's room, and step in with no further hesitation.

Jungkook started to open up the more I'd spend the night. But still not full sentences very often. Only sometimes.

"Jimin?"

"Hm?"

"Can you sing again?" He asks the same question that he asks every night. It works well for me, because he falls asleep, and he's a pretty hard sleeper, so I do have to worry about him hearing me when he falls asleep before me.

"Hm, okay, what do you want me to sing?"

I lay down and wrap my arms around his chest— he seems to feel safe that way.

"Born singer, please." His voice asks in a soft tone. I shake my head and start;

"I'm a born singer, A little belated confession
(I swear)
The mirage that always seemed so far away is now before my eyes
(It's here)
I'm a born singer Perhaps an early confession 
But I'm so happy I'm good."

I sing on until the end of the song, and when I finish, I open my eyes to see Jungkook sleeping under me, but with a smile on his face. I close my eyes once more and start to doze off. Before I'm able to slip away into my sleep, I hear the maknae whom I thought was asleep speak in a quiet whisper.

"Thank you, hyung." He wraps his arms around me, and I fall Into a deep sleep in his arms, and for the first time in a while, I'm sleeping soundly, with no dreams, and no worries.
