(Jeongguk's POV)
Me and Minnie got to practice fifteen minutes early, so that I could find out what's going on before practice instead of after.

She didn't care to get here early, in fact, she didn't care when I heard the news. It was me who wanted to hear it sooner, rather than later.

"I can get to my practice room safely, go ahead and talk to Jimin." She instructed me as she walks down the hall to her bands practice room.

"You don't want to be a part of this?" I ask before she can walk too far.

"No, I'd rather not. Just go ahead, and we can talk after practice."

I do as she says, and try to find Jimin.

I hope this isn't as bad as I think it's gonna be.

I go to our practice room, to see Jimin on his phone.

"Jimin hyung! Can we talk?" I run to him, anxious of finding out this mystery.

"Yeah, come on." He then proceeded to lead me to the boys bathroom.

He shuts the door, and locks it behind him.

"Okay, it's kinda a long story." Jimin starts off,

"So she used to date this guy named Jinju Chanyeong. Great guy. He was so good to Min. They were so in love. She was a mute for many years, and he was the first person she spoke to, other than me. She really let go. He told her she could stop being scared, because yes, she was scared then, but not as scared as she is now." Jimin takes a breath, trying to collect his thoughts.

"What happened to them? Did he cheat on her?"

Jimin gasped.

"No! Oh goodness, no. He was a great guy. You see, he died, In a car crash. Two years ago. She was young, she didn't know how to deal with it. She started hurting herself physically so that she would forget about her pain mentally."

"So that's what her scars are from? Heartbreak?"

"That's correct."

"And she doesn't want to love, because the last time she did, she lost it."

It's all making sense.. I feel like an asshole for being mad at her for this. I am an asshole for being mad at her.

"That's right. She became mute again for a long time. She would only talk to my mom, Lee, and me. The first time I heard her talking out loud was at that dinner with the band. It shocked me, because she doesn't talk out like that usually. I think it's cause she was comfortable around you."

"Wow. Why can't she talk about it to me?"

"She probably didn't want to cry about her ex to her crush."

"I-I asked her to be my girlfriend this morning."

"Really!? What did she say?"

"She rejected me. She apologized, and said that she was too scared and that it was to soon. But it's been two years."

"Talk to her about it, invite her to spend another night, you two need more time together. Give it time, she'll come around, she really does love you, she's just too scared to admit it."
