She shakes her head. "I just hope you are okay."

"I will," I say and we turn back to the conversation going on between the girls, Annabeth is talking about a ex-boyfriend.

"He was very different. I just dated him because my friends told me I should." Annabeth finishes. Then Jewels looks at me.

"Speaking of that, how is Jace?"

I tell the truth. "He is most likely crying his eyes out right now."

"Why?" The bunch ask at the same time.

"Well, we had a talk at school today."

"Oh, great." Someone says.

"We decided that it is best if we don't date, but we are going to still be friends."

They all stare at me in shock.

"But you were so cute."Kate, Kyler's mate says.

"Yeah, you were."

"Well there is another man in my life, that is not one of my brothers." I say with a smirk. They all come closer to me asking about this 'man'. I smile to myself.

"WHO?" they demand.

"I'm sorry I can't tell."

"What why?"

"Because I'm not sure if we are telling people."

"This must be serious."Elaina points out.

"Well, kind of. I plan on spending the rest of my life with him." I say and they only looked shocked again. They don't seem to get it, everyone but Carrie.

"She found her mate." Carrie says softly. I smile at her, she looks nervous to look at me.

They all look at her, and then back at me.

"Is she right?" Annabeth asks.

I shake my head yes.

"OMG!!!!!" they all scream, and all of the boys run into the room. I try my hardest not to look at Zane but he's my mate for God's sake. Of COURSE I'm going to stare at him. 

"What is going on?" Shawn asks us. The girls look dazed, so he looks at me. I just shrug. Then my phone starts to ring.

"Baby, don't call me a friend, if I hear that word again, then you may never get a chance to see me naked in your bed." Meghan Trainor sings on the counter. I pick up my phone and then look at everybody.

"I need to take this," I say and step outside.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Nora hisses into the phone.

"What did I do?" I ask in a carefree tone. I can feel my wolf rising. She doesn't like the disrespect. 

"You broke up with Jace!"

"Nora, we weren't dating." I point out in a calm matter, hoping she would follow suit. 

"You were so close. We were going to go on double dates, and go shopping together-"

"Nora!"

"What?"Nora asks.

"Even thought Jace and I are never going to be, that doesn't mean that I will never have a mate, or boyfriend." I point out.
