Chapter 11

We arrived at the justice building after a hour and fifty minute drive , we were awake for the last ten minutes but our heads were still on mums shoulders. When we were driving up to the justice building it looked like they were rebuilding it from old rubble probably where It was knocked down when mum and dad was my age. The car just stopped right in front of the front of the building for us to get off as it drove off to probably pick up dad , Mark and Jake. "What do we do?" I looked at mum to see her with a disappointed face , "What's up mum?" I asked her as her grey eyes looked in to my blue eyes , just like dads , "Sweetie, It r-" both me and Aloe cut her off "The old man getting shot in 8" we knew the story , Rue taught her a mockingjay song meaning 'End of work' is all I can remember when I was told it when I was round 9. "Mum, you'll be fine , this building wont last at least a year , cause i'll be here determined to bring back the environment we were born in." I bring her into a hug to cheer her up , " Then I will back you up" she pulling it back together. "So what do we do?" Uncle Gale asked putting a hand on my shoulder. "I think we might walk in , i'm really annoyed with these jumpsuits their really tight" I say tugging the sticky jumpsuit from my flesh.

Moments after tugging at my jumpsuit from sticking to my flesh that hasn't yet been cleaned properly, a car stopped behind us and out came the boys and dad. Mark came right for me and hugging me , I groaned "I just finished tugging this stupid thing off my skin and you stuck it back" I joked punching him lightly as he fakes a pain. Jakes mood changed from happy for being away from the arena to jealousy , "Well , what's everyone waiting for lets go in" dad said leading us in showing his little pass to every peacekeeper we passed by in the justice building.

You'll never guess who I saw , the stinky aroma of fishes and fresh blood hit me like a light. "What is that scent?" I blurt out by accident , "It my new fragrance , you like" a man with grey hair and a bushy beard said to me " Its finally nice to meet the daughter and son of Peeta and Katniss Mellark and Mark and Jake" he said , "You aren't going anywhere near my kids cause your going to die once again forever" Mum said bravely using her arm pushing us towards the arms of dad. "We'll see" who is this man and why is trying to threaten my mum. I step up "Don't you threaten my mum like that , i'll let you know that I will kill you eventually I will have it planned." I say directing mum to move out of the way as she agrees knowing I have control ,"Now , you maybe alive once again , but there is another girl formed and determined to kill you." I say standing at the same height for him to see my face as I was taller than him. "You cant hurt me I have guards" his blood breath almost killed me , "Snow isit?" I asked "Indeed" he answered straight away , "Hey look over there" I distracted him as he looked towards the window "What?" he turned his head back as I swung a punch towards his face "You might have killed my Aunt and sent a poisonous drink to my uncle but im defiantly the younger version of my mum and stronger" , "I didn't send poison in drink for you uncle" he said trying to hide his evil laugh , "You trying to say you didn't , I see you want to do a laugh" Uncle Gale suddenly stepped up and punched snow. "You should never done that to my brother he was ill " I looked up at his face , he read me like a book "He killed him , Vick was never ill , It was cause of that poison?" I nod at his response.

A pack of peacekeepers come jogging in taking everyone by the arms and dragging us out the room , "Be ready for the crowning tomorrow and prepare to die all of you!" Snow shouted , "Why don't you watch out for your death as well old man" I shout back as on of the peacekeepers make me unconscious "Amanda!" I heard someone scream my name but I didn't know who it was exactly. I woke up in a similar room , was I back home? , "Oh Amanda your okay!" mum said dabing a wet cloth on my forehead , "What happened to me? , why am I in this jumpsuit? who are you?" I said "Amanda is me your mother" "Aha , just kidding!" I said while mum sighed with remark "Humour of your dad" she smiled rubbing my forehead , "You alright my darling?" I nod at her response. "Get some sleep , you didn't get enough in the arena" , "Where's Aloe?" I ask suspicious on where my brother was "He's in his room catching up on some sort of Modern walfare game" I laughed "I'll get sleeping" I say as mum tucks me in and kisses my forehead and leaves.

It was the day of my victor crowning, I was constantly being shaked while I was asleep , as I hit that person way. "Amanda wake up you need to get ready" I ignored the person once again , I felt a pillow being pulled from one of the pillows I was sleeping on and there's at hit of a pillow on my face. "I'm up" I jump up from my sleep , there was a little giggle , "Aloe don't do that ever again!" as I playful got another pillow and hit him with it as he did it back. "Kids stop messing around get changed!" dad opened the door saying with his morning voice and moody tone , "Where's the prep team?" I asked "Their downstairs!" he screamed at closed the door "Strange" Aloe drops the pillow on the floor and rubs his chin as if he had a beard. "You don't have a beard stop that" I laughed "I might not but you have messy hair" he laughed and skipped out the room like a girl. I got out of bed and went for a nice hot shower that cleaned all the dirt from my body , I got out the shower and wrapped my hair in a towel and walked out in a robe to find Octica , Carlon and Cinna sitting on the edge of my neatly folded bed which they might have kindly did for me.

"There's the girl who brought back The Flames" Octica came to me hugging me as her purple her choked me. "Let her down , we aren't here to play , we're here to dress her up from her crowning today" Carlon added with his new black eyeliner. "I missed you guys!" I hugged them all and started being dolled up like a Barbie doll. "Hmm , how about a black and blue dip-dyed hi-low dress?" Cinna says rubbing his dark beard like Aloe tried earlier but had no hair on his face i giggled , "What are you laughing at dear?" Cinna askes me "Oh nothing and yes please" his nods and get the dress and makes me put his on "Perfect!" he smiles as he passes me on to Carlon who does my hair , "Now im just going to cut bits of your hair off and curl it" he says as i nod as he starts trimming at my hair , i watch Octica's reflection in the mirror she was setting up the make up for me. "Hmm , perfect cut" he kisses his fingers and blows it and starts curling my hair. I sat there in silence for thirty minutes "All done" he smiled "Wow , Carlon this is amazing your an artist!" i was so pleased with my hairstyle and walked over to Octica who was ready to beautify me as layers of make up applied on my face i was done within moments. I stood up and went through my cuboard and grabbed black bowed flats and put them on "A bit of me added" i cheekily say and twirled "Beautiful!" they say in a unison and clap. "Thank you guys i love what you've done for me since the day i met you" I said smiling as i exit my room

There was mum , dad , uncle Gale , Aloe , Mark and Jake in the living room looking more dolled up than i was. Their eyes were attached to my clothing and my figure for a couple seconds "You look beautiful Amanda" Jake said "Thanks" i smiled at him making him blush , "We better leave now" dad said looking at his matching watch that matched with his suit and mums dress. "Woah the king and queen of white clothing" i joked at what mum and dad were wearing and brought laughter to the room "thanks princess" mum said holding my hand leading me out the front door and getting in the car first slowly followed by everyone else. The peacekeeper driving nods meaning asking if we were all ready as dad nods back. Oh yeah ! " Mum" , "Yes dear" , "Remember that pin you gave me before the games" the peacekeepers face lit up " Yes?" , "Well i heard Rue's voice" she was surprised and smiled.

The car reached the front of Snow's mansion , as the crowd grows bigger and bigger filling each gap. " Alright kids you meet up with Effie at the start of the carpet" dad said giving me a hand out of the car and pointed us out the direction we should head and walked off. We saw Effie's new doo it was multi-coloured this time how amazing. We walked up to Effie as she shows us a piece of paper saying follow her and that her tongue had been cut off on purpose by snow as i kick a small rock hitting a peacekeeper i sarcastically smile at him or if it was a him. We followed Effie to the back of the mansion. She leads up to a door guarded by four keepers. I hear Snow silences the crowd , " We all welcome you here today to introduce you all to four new victors and crown them publically , meet Mark Madson , Jake Redhood , Amanda and Aloe Mellark" he says swinging his hand towards the door as it opens as we walk out to screams and cheers. There was four chairs what looked like thrones , it was in order of how our names were introduced "I now have four crowns here as i place on the heads of these people here" He grabs the first crown from a pillow an puts it on Marks head with care , second was Jake , thirdly was me as he didn't care as he just put it on my head letting fall messing up my amazing hair , i gave him a dirt and fixed it myself and he crowned Aloe last. "District 12 and 5's new victors" he speaks into the microphone and peacekeepers lead us out that was quicker than i thought it was. We were lead out in the same order. "AMANDA HELP!!" i turned around to see Aloe being pulled away from us and towards Snow "ALOE! FIGHT THEM!" I shout as he cant fight back hes knocked out "ALOE!"

That was it, that's the first time Me and Aloe were seperated
