Chapter 13

The night goes on as continuous movement, shuffling and complaints from Jake during the night. I was guessing its almost time to wake up as I hear a canon go off, making everyone jump from their sleep. "Why did a canon go off? , let me do a quick count of everyone." Jake said getting up to his feet and looking around the camp "Uhh" , "What isit? isit someone missing?" I get up walking over to the cornucopia to get a can of tomato soup , don't ask why I was hungry alright. "Haymitch's gone" the camp fell silent as the sky shows us the answers. *Then Fallen since day 1 .... Annie Odair , Johannah Mason , Crystal Banks and Haymitch* "Wait a minute Haymitch left so doesn't that mean there 5 of us left right now?" I asked remembering the rule "Yeah your right" , "We can get Aloe back!" my hopes were high knowing that we have won.

"Amanda , Mark , Jake , Katniss , Peeta and Beetee , you will be sent home to district 12 , we are giving you all exactly 4 days for you all to be ready" the voice in the arena said , "Be ready for what? , what does this even mean?" Mark asked confused on the final words that were said from the control room. "I know what's going to happen" Beetee spoke up for the first time since he re-entered another arena , "What isit Beetee?" mum asked " Well Peeta and Katniss remember the quarter quell we were at?" , "What about it?" , "Remember we had to tie my wire around a tree that had an electric bolt shooting towards it when the clock hits 11?" , I knew what he was saying I don't think mum and dad didn't really catch on as fast as I did , though I was never really told about a tree that have electric currents going through it and electrocuting everything that goes near it , mum never told me or Aloe about this. "So , does this mean when they taken you all home and took dad back to the capital and used him as a human toy and erased his memory , don't you mean they will do the exact same process to Aloe?" I asked Beetee every single detail from remembering when dad said that the capital took his memory away and made him want to kill mum and took him forever to regain the memory. "That's right , but there's not only one reason , another is that we will have to end up planning a rescue mission and provide all the weapons you guys need to complete it before that happens" , "Arent you included in this Beetee?" Jake asked , "Beetee will be making our weapons with full and advance technology and things that will only respond to us" Dad comment and a nod from Beetee with agreement.

A hovercraft flew in from above and 3 ladders were let down , "Mark and Amanda on the first , Jake and me on second , Katniss and Peeta take the last" Beetee arranged us on the ladders which was really strange.

The ride home took really long but we were home, back in the victors village, I had my own house that I share with Mark , Jake and Aloe now that we're victors , I wasn't sure what they were going to do with Haymitch's stuff now that he's not longer alive and with us, "Amanda , get the boys Beetee wants us in the command centre he wants us to test the weapons out" mum said opening the front door and seeing me in the kitchen , "He's done with the weapons already? , we only just got back" , "Their the weapons we used when we went to save your dad now hurry up little duck" as she gestures me to go to the boys rooms and get them to get in the car. I couldn't really be bothered to go into their smelly rooms , so I got the bull horn from the shelf in my room that still had a couple boxed , Uncle Gale must have moved the stuff in for them and was asked to make the boys rooms smell manly , yeah manly not what I thought , I got in the hallway and pulled the plastic off the lever of the horn and pulled it back making a loud sound and Aunt Prim's cat hiss at me. "WHAT!" Jake came and stood at his door shirtless , I pretty much admired his natural skin and abs , "Amanda" I quickly snap out my sense "What are you looking at?" ," Your rooms a mess" I lied , "Thanks now what?" , "RUDE!!! , anyway go put a shirt on we have to meet Beetee" , "That's so long!" , "Stop being a pain in the ass!" I mimicked him and knocked the door of Marks room , there was no answer "Mark" I continued to knock but I got tired and just walked in but he was already gone.  "Jake Poo head hurry up you ass" I knocked on his door.

After waiting for 5 minutes his door opens "About time Mr . Perfection" , "Hey, why you calling me that?!" , "Look at yourself making yourself all sexy and all psht please" , "I know you like it" , "I'll tell you what I like" I said walking up to him and tip toeing so my eyes can look in his , "I'm so having this snapback" I took it off his head and ran away and got in to the car that was outside the house. I put Jake's hat on my head , but made sure it was the right size , his head it a melon and melon I say. "Oh there you are Mark" , "Ya , I was helping Peeta finish off the cookies he was going to give Beetee" , "Cake boys!" I joked. "Is that Jakes snapback?" mum asked , "Yeah why?", "Why do you have it?" , "We agreed that if I said something nice about him he'd put on a bloody shirt and he'd give me the hat to wear" , the back door opened revealing Jake. "I didn't say that!" he protested , "Yes you did!" , "didn't!" ,"Did" , "didn't" ,"did", " Jake's hot" ,"Go eat mud you frog" , "Amanda!" dad said "Argh ... sorry Jake" , "Accepted now can I have my snapback back?" , "In your dreams ass" I said sitting away from him.

We arrived at the command centre and walked through 20 different hallways and 2 different lifts to find a beautiful white and beige head quarter with fine weaponry in  one corner and suits in the other. Far ahead Beetee sat in his white spinning chairs , the chairs that I love , as he gestured us over , I was still astonished by what I was seeing and I bet you Mark and Jake is feeling what I feel about this room right now. "You like?" Beetee asked everyone and everyone unisoned "Yes" , "Well lets show you the weapons and you rescue team line up" Beetee got from his chair noticing his has a huge cut along the back of his thigh, "Beetee what happened to your leg?" , "Oh nothing?" , " It was the peacekeepers wasn't it?" there was no answer to my question as he continued on what he was doing before I asked him the question , "Katniss , Amanda and Gale will be using these Bow and arrows , there are different types of arrows , 1 that explodes stuff, 2 sets things on fire , 3 are normal arrows and lastly grenade arrows" , "Uncle Gale is in this too?" , "  Of course he does need to help his niece and get his nepthew back right?"
