Chapter 10

PART 2 - Kidnapper

We were just moments away from arriving home , i  couldnt believe it , i finally get to see my mum , dad and uncle Gale again. We were arranged on the hovercraft by first name , Aloe sat in the infront of me with a peacekeeper , then it was me and another peacekeeper , behind was Jake yet again with another peacekeeper and finally Mark last with another peacekeeper , then again i think that the capital doesnt trust us , to be honest with their thoughts they were wrong , we justed wanted to go home.

The hovercraft was just over the training ground , the driver of the hovercraft was just about to land on its desinated area as forms of camaras and people began to crowd the station. Once the hovercraft landed , we were lead into speacial private trains take takes us to the train station where we could meet our families.

The train slowly approched the station as people scream from outside the train and bright white flashes were shot. Before we turned off the tv we were apprently was watching "The four victors are back!" was headlined on the tv with a picture of us in our jumpsuits before the games and the private glassed windows. " We await for four new victors to leave the train , everyone stands here in silence for a while till they give a warm welcome home to the wonderful winners" the reporter says before the camara shooting back at the door we were supposed to get out of , "We see the lovely Effie Trinket and Peeta mellark entering the train not far away from where we are positioned" the reporter said once again.

Theres a sudden wiggle at the door knob at the other side of the coach we were in , "My little angels are home safe" Effie walked in with her arms opened wide for a hug , "Bring it here dearies , including you Jake!"she happily moved into the coach further more to hug all four of us "We missed you Effie!" i was still hugging her , "Haha you silly  girl , you were only gone for 3 or 4 days" , "Seems like a year for me Effie" i look up to her smiling and her hugging me more tightly. There was more heavy footsteps behind Effie , "DAAADD!" Aloe yelled and ran directly for him as i smiled and giggled a little on how happen the boy was , i was still in the arms of Effie until my dad opened his arms for me to run into so i did , "You were amazing out there kids" dad proudly said as he sank his head into our ajar apart shoulders , "I wouldnt have done this without Mark dad" i broke away from the hug and gesturing Mark towards me. "Thanks for taking care of my daughter and my sister and not forgetting my little boy" dad thanking Mark while shaking Aloe make he do his little adorable giggle. *Ahum* a cough in a background was done "Oh yeah and Jake too , cannot forget that lad"

"Alright Kiddos, lets get you guys seen!" Effie shouted from the door the camara outside was focused on. "What about our jumpsuits? , what do we do with them?" Jake asked Effie since it was his first time meeting her in person. "Hmm , zip them fully up i want the camaras to capture you guys as winners and determined" Effie answered opening the door and walking out first as her bobbing Yellow hair bounced up and down first. "Its time everyone our new victors are coming" the reporter says into her microphone. "Ready guys?" Mark looked at us as he held one hand in the middle as everyone put their hands on top "Dont let anything get to you , even the sad parts and questions they ask youu , stay strong and hold it all in" Jake added as we all flung our hands in the air.

Jake was first to leave as the crowd screams his name as he does his thing and runs over to his family , Mark was next in line to go out , but before he went "This is the last time i get to kiss you as a normal ordinary girl , and tomorrow will be a victor that i will be kissing" he said connecting his lips with my as they were in sync for a couple moments. After we wait about a couple of mintues as Me , Aloe and dad agreed to go out together.

We were making our way to the door and stepped out on to the stations ground and to be welcomed by chants of our names ad screams. We stood there for about 5mintues in the same position till the camaras got enough pictures of the Mellarks together , the train door behind us had closed automatically and drove off into the distance. I looked around the crowd to find Mum and Uncle Gale but there was no sign of them. I was about to cry that my mum wasnt about to see me.

"AMANDA! , ALOE! PEETA!" i heard our names being called and turned around "UNCLE GALE!" Me and Aloe screamed at the same time and ran into his arms , "Theres my wonderful Niece and Nepthew , i missed you guys since the little feast we had before Amanda went , but i didnt expect Aloe to go" Uncle Gale said to us looking into our teared faces " It was a last notice dad said, and i was a replacement for Uncle Vicky" , Uncle Gales fce dropped from a smile to a frown and got down to his knees " What happened to my brother?" , "He died of an illness before the opening ceremony" i replied ans kissed uncle Gales cheek to cheer him up , atleast he smiled and his mood changed. "MY BABIES!" i saw my mum running fixing her bag at the same time , We left the side of Uncle Gale and ran over to mum. "My little victors" she proudly said kissing our foreheads. "Oh stop it mum your embarrasing me theres pretty girls over there" Aloe said , as me and mum laughed "Oh what do you know about love your only 10" i said to him playfully hitting him on the back, lightly of course. "She was so smoochy smoochy with Mark over there!" Aloe playfully returned his little revenge as mum looked back at Mark and smiled.

Dad and Uncle Gale were walking back together smiling and laughing , i still wonder why they didnt get along back in their time but now their like bestfriends , i still think there something wrong going on between them. "Lets get all the kids together and get them changed into different clothing , i remember how it feels to be in those tight jumpsuits"  Dad said now behind us, we got up from our crouched position so mum can hug both of us not only that it was beacause Aloe was small for his age , "I'll get Jake and Mark meet you in at the justice building" Dad told us and walked off , then 4 peacekeepers came over and guided us to a private glassed window and we got in and was drove to the justice building , but before that whole concept was taken in the reporter came up to me "Amanda how do you feel to be out of the arena and back home?" she asked fixing her hair " Well , its great to be home overall i didnt like the arena , sooner or later i was going to find wild animal that were going to eat me alive and the memory of my aunts death really got to me , thats all i got to say  i have to go" I stepped into the car and closed the door behind me and throughout the 1 and half hour drive the justice building i was asleep on my mother shoulder , the only sleep i managed to get since the games.

The only thing i was ever excited for is to be crowned and go hunting again with Uncle Gale
