Chapter 12

Aloe was knocked out by a hit in the head by one of the peacekeepers , I fainted as I saw my brother lay in the arms of the peacekeepers and Snow either alive or dead , I felt my body being dragged up a bunch of stair cases and laid on to something comfortable. I wake up to someone moving strands of my hair to behind my ears. "Hello , Amy" Mark said to me smiling that I was awake , that nickname wow , "Hi" I replied sounding like I just woke up which I did. "How are you feeling?" , "Not bad, where's Aloe?" , "He's been taken and help captive my Snow" Uncle Gale stood behind Mark having one hand on his shoulder as I rose from my lying position into a sitting one. "I want my brother back!" I shout demandingly , The door to the room my family and fellow victors were in creaked open "You wont be getting him back , till I get what I need!" Snow appeared in the sight of my eyes. "ARGH YOU BLOODY ANIMAL , GIVE ME MY BROTHER BACK YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME!!" I try running directly to hurt him but I'm pulled by the waist in to Uncle Gales arms as I struggle to break free and give up. "Why are you doing this to me" I say in defeat of my uncles grip of me , "You should never have had punched me young lady" , " DONT CALL ME THAT!" , "Well im going now see ya" Snow waved and gave off a sinister smile , "Oh and your going to fight for your brother back in another game"

As President Snow left my sight I start to break down , I'm not doing this again , seeing Aunt Prim die and seeing Demetrius die , though I never really got to know him , I would never want to set foot into another arena to kill or to be killed. "Amanda , its alright" , I look up to the person who said it with my red puffy eyes. "How is it going to be alright ? , im going to be trapped in another arena to kill someone again only just after my crowning" I say back looking at my phone wallpaper of my and the family , I look up to face mum and dad who's arms were around eachother , I look into mums eyes and see that she had been crying too , the crown was to big for my head so I took it off and threw it on the floor "That crown is worth nothing to me until I get him back , im going to win my brother back" there I was determined , there I wanted everyone to know that I wasn't going to give up for anything. "Alright , its your choice , there isn't much victors left alive so the line up must be , Me, your mum , Mark , Jake , Beetee , Haymitch , Johannah and Annie , that should probably be enough , we could plan something in the arena and work together to get him back" dad spoke up geusturing us to get out the building and get home where we can plan what we were going to do.

It was time for Snow to announce something to the capital and the districts as its broadcasted live to every single tv , the show starts off with a viewing of the capital arriving were Snow announces his little speech as the movement gets closer to where he will enter , a line of drummer bang on to their drums still Snow enters the balcony where he speaks. The capital falls silent and the drums stop , Snow enters the balcony welcomed by screams as he silences them with the hands , "Hello dear capital and districts , I have a new announcement for you , each existing victor still living , will be entering another arena in order to win someone back , but this I no ordinary games , there will be special surprises in there waiting them , that's all I have to say , May the odds be ever in your favour , thank you" he nods and waves to the crowd and walks out.

I sat there in complete silence , I murmur to myself saying "I have to get him back before they destroy him" the hot chocolate mum made me was in my hands as I shake at its heat. Dad looks at me " We have to get him back and protect your mum incase she starts another rebellion" I nod agreeing to his words , I remember mum telling me while I was on the swing in the garden saying that she started a rebellion turning the districts against the capital , I am not sure but I think that's going to happen to me to , but it think its better to get Snow gone once and forever

It was the day of the new games as cars arrive at our door , im ready to live another horror movie that I star in. I hope Aloe's not hurt , not dead but still alive , overall I hope he's okay and he know's Im going to get him back. I get in the same car as Mark and Jake as I look out the window looking at my house which probably is the last time I would see it , "Special surprises" runs through my head , im guaranteed there's monsters in there that eat you alive like the monkeys in the 25th Quarter Quell mum and dad was in. I was constantly being tapped on my shoulder but I was blocking it out , " Amanda we're here" Mark says. I sigh as I open the door on my side and get out and walk over to the front of the justice building and walk in , "cant believe we're launching today" I groan with frustration as my hand was linked with Marks.
