Sally Williams was in full help over drive. Three days after we date she attached herself to my mom, she magically transformed my disguising boyish room, filled and decorated with pizza and dirt and no sort of organisation in my room. (Mom used to tidy before she got sick).  I wanted to tell her I liked my room the way it is, but you know girls can get touchy about this sort of stuff a and when sally puts her mind to something there is no stopping her. And Chloe is helping as well, they made dinner last night. It was delicious roast potatoes and beef stew, my mom’s favourite. I have never tasted anything so delicious in my life; sally is an amazing cook, that’s one of the perks of having a girlfriend.  Too be honest I’ve lost a bit of weight since more got ill, and haven’t  been eating properly but is good to know that about to change. I’ve never had a proper girlfriend before my relationships has never lasted more than one week.

 I haven’t forgotten about the bet I made with the guys though, the real reason I’m dating Chloe. And every time I see how being so good to me, like right now, as where sitting in out spotless and immaculate living room watching a comedy movie by Adam Sandler and she’s smiling and laughing, I’m terrified. I’m terrified about how much I like her, I’m terrified she found out that she’s good for me, and I’m terrified about what she’d do when she finds out about the bet. I smiled back a warm sly shy to say that everything is okay, and although my whole world is falling apart, my mom’s sick, my dyslexia, and everything else, as long as I can look and smile back at her nothing else matters, the world is behind us and everything is okay. As long as I can touch her soft delicate skin, taste the mint freshness of her lips, smell her sweet apple shampoo from her long and beautiful hair, everything is going to be okay. She makes it better, she and Chloe both make it better.
