I wore my skirt which was perfectly ironed to perfection, my school shirt is white as snow and tie is reaching up to my neck. I made sure my skirt reached my knee before I left, if not my father would not allow me to leave the house. one of the things that dad teaches us is that “cleanliness is next to godliness”. As a daughter of a pastor there is a lot expected from you, there is constant judging and watching eyes all around you and you have to make sure your behaviour and actions are up to expectation just like a princess I guess. I run my mom’s brush through my hair and put it in a pony tail and wore the cardigan my grandmother made me. Then i grabbed my glasses and school bag and headed outside the door towards the car. The car drops me off at my school gate and I could see people heading up inside. I was exactly on time. It was eight twenty which gives me ten minutes to walk to class.  I reached class and placed my pencil and book on the table ready for learning. I wipe my chair with hand wipes before I sat down and that’s was when that was when he and his friends came in. josh Hutchinson and his three brainless bandit. Josh Hutchison has been the boy that I’ve been in love with ever since I was eight but he never ever seems to notice me. Not that that it will even matter, because I’m not allowed to date. My father classifies dating as a sinful and anything sinful is unholy and should be avoided like a plague we want to go to heaven.  Jack one of the boys started to laugh and said “the freak is cleaning her chair before she sits on it; she gets weirder and weirder by the day”, josh just smiled at jack and made his way to his seat. I wished he would do something even if he laughs at me, at least I’ll feel he sees me and notice that I’m a human being and that I’m alive. But no he just goes on and seat’s on his share like I’m not even worth his scrutiny.

We sat down and we received our English test result from last lesson some people in my class mostly the boys were moaning and sulking about her bad their grades, my English teacher got to my seat and gave me my paper and gave me an approving smile “well done sally you got an A miss the perfect score by 1 mark” I knew everyone was glaring and mocking me but I didn’t care I was used to it by now. She got to Jason and her facial expression changed entirely to that off her teacher who is fed up of teaching a student over and over again that would just end up failing. “Josh did you even revise for this test?” josh smiled cheekily then replied “I did miss honest but I don’t seem to get it” the teacher hissed “then maybe you should ask Sally for help. The way you are going you’re going to end up in prison or death before you even go to college.  Josh gave the teacher a dirty look but she ignored him and kept on handing the papers out. After that the teacher started teaching us about Shakespeare much ado about nothing. And even though I thought I love school (never miss a day of school in my life ask my parent, not even when I’m sick, it’s like a second home to me)I wasn’t feeling today’s lesson and wished to go home.
