Words can’t describe the way I feel, butterflies are flying all over my tummy. He said he loved me, he actually said he loved me, I can still taste his mint on the tongue, can still feel his strong and firm hand gently caressing my skin.  Smell the aftershave that he wore during our date. And for how good he looked you would have to have been there to believe it. If I wasn’t woken up by a good mourning text from him I would never have believed it wasn’t a dream.  I have been seeing a psychologist for my OCD and it’s been going great, she said the OCD was a habit I formed in other to deal with my mom’s death and all and the more I open up about it the more I’ll feel better. I’ve been feeling good these days just talking about stuff makes me feel better. The only thing that stops me smiling is when I think about Josh’s mom and how seriously ill she is and then I just want to break down and cry, so I try not to think about these stuff and only focus on the good things.

The date was two days ago I haven’t seen Josh since but he’s been texting and emailing, he been very busy with his mom, and managing his dyslexia so he can pass the exam, he has to learn to read in a whole special way which must suck, but I’m going to see him tomorrow at school.  I was jovial and humming and half dating to the tune of it’s a beautiful life while making pancakes.

“Hey angel” my dad appearing from behind me and almost scaring me. “Good morning dad”. He smiled.  “I can see you’re in a good mood”. I smiled back at him showing white perfect teeth. “You smile like your mom. You really like this guy josh don’t you?” I nodded. “I’ve never since you this happy for a long time in ages” he said. “I know, he just makes everything seem better”. He grab be and held me in his arms. “Ok baby, you have my full blessing, but just be careful angel” he looked directly into my eyes and you could see the eyes of a worried father. “I will dad, I promise. No matter what happens I will be okay. As long as things stay like this, as long as I have you and him in my life. I’ll be ok”.
