Eternal Grand Quest

Chapter 3: The Start of a Long journey.

It was daytime in the city of Greentown. At the local school, the day went on as normal and as the lunch bell rang everyone left their lessons. Arion, Tema in the game,  with his short brown hair, got up from his seat in his school uniform of grey pants and a V-neck blue jumper over a white shirt. As he was about to leave the room he felt a tug "hey Arion" he turned to see Francis "it's about time we got a break"

Francis, who plays as Thor, was similar in height with slightly tanned skin and curly black hair "you didn't tell me you went up against Sir Gawain?" said Francis, with enthusiasm

"well...you won't around to tell exactly" replied Arion "I mean you were off trying to find the second temple" Francis looked embarrassed as he scratched his face

"yeah...you do have a point. I did find it by the way and passed it. But enough about me. Come on let's go to lunch before all the good seats are taken" Arion nodded and went out the classroom.

They were sat down to the table enjoying their sandwiches when "hey boys" they turned to see Claire stood before them. "do you mind if I join you?" the two boys nodded and Claire sat with them. Claire, who plays as Sheena, was taller than Francis and Tema, both only to her shoulder. Claire had shiny black hair in two longish pig-tails. Her uniform was slightly different in she wore a grey skirt and black jumper with a yellow neckerchief like tie.

Claire smiled and greeted them "it's nice to see you two looking rather chipper"

"you look happy yourself" said Arion "oh yeah did you find that guy you were on about? You said you were going to ask him about my new power"

"what guy is this?" asked Francis "A boy friend?"

"in your dreams" said Claire smartly "who I went to meet...well you know him as the geek. I had to go talk to him about something"

Francis thought for a moment and hit his palm "Oh yeah...I know that guy. He's that nerd who has been on the game since it started. They say he's not strong but knows the game inside-out. He's a walking walkthrough guide. Jeez that was a tongue twist"

"So did you ask him about the ability then?" asked Tema

"Yeah I did" said Claire "and about that" Claire seemed to look around as if expecting to see someone "we need to talk...in private. We'll do it after school...don't mention it here...at all" Arion nodded to her serious face

"Arion...is there something we've missed?" asked Francis looking bewildered but Arion only shrugged his shoulders

The end bell rang and the students streamed out of the front door. Claire waited near the front entrance gate, to which Tema and Francis shortly joined her. Claire nodded "Alright now that you're here...let's go" they walked away from the school away from the other teens.

Claire waited a little while before she then spoke with a fairly serious tone "right now that we are away from prying eyes...and ears I can talk"

"is someone going to tell me what's going off!?" said Francis agitated

"well...yesterday Tema acquired an in-print ability"

"Isn't that one of those powers that are printed on the skin? More or less a tattoo which gives you a new power" Arion rubbed his face and sighed

"Yes that's exactly it"  Claire shared Arion's frustration "Tema acquired an ability called Soul-Enforce. I had never heard of that power so I spoke to the geek and..."
