In GreenTown it was the dead of night. The semi-cloudy sky constantly masking the full moon with the whole populace now asleep in their beds. The only sources of light were the brief flashes of the moon and the streetlights upon the roads and streets. The only signs of life were the night-time birds or wildlife who came to life. The scarce car of a weary late-night traveller...and Arion and Alise flying in the air.
Arion and Alise were on the way to the Aberforth A&E a hospital which laid on the outskirts of the town. Arion had caught a flash of this building within Noire's memory and wished to investigate it to clear up one last question on his mind. Arion was in his Cyber-Human state, flying with jet-rocket blasts out of the soles of his feet and being guided by his radar-left eye.
Arion continued following the small blip on his radar "we should be approaching it now according to this" Arion closed his eyes "switching to night-vision" Arion opened his green eyes, which allowed him to see the world below "and here we are. Aberforth A&E" Alise looked down, to which the pale moon poked, to see what Arion was flying towards.
It was a simple white, tall building with a standard carpark and many windows all along the several floors. There wasn't a single light, except the dim glow from lamp-posts on the carpark. Arion switched back to normal vision "well it looks like the whole place is shut down for the night"
"but...if it's a hospital, should it be open all night as well?" asked Alise
"There is another major hospital, and that is open all night. This is more of an accidental ward. You know for people who've fallen down stairs and stuff" Alise nodded as Arion hovered down.
Arion landed down in-front of the main entrance, and putting Alise down looked at it "I can only imagine it'll locked. So you see anything like a lock, or electronic device to get in?"
"hmmm...there's this thing here" said Alise pointing at a card reader "it looks like those devices that were at the base"
"nice one Alise. Okay now to make a card that can open any door" as he said this, his mouth suddenly felt strange. Then with a ding sound a card popped out of his mouth "aghg...aghgh...ahh" Arion took the card out of his mouth "what the heck?"
"will...that card work?" Arion went to the card-reader and slotted the card through.
After a few moments the card reader lit-up and the automatic doors opened "oh...it opened. That cyber-human state is useful"
"I guess it's more for infiltration than fighting" Arion then reverted to human "that's better. It's feels too strange in that state, not breathing or ought. Now we have to be quiet, there could always be a janitor"
"okay" with that the two proceeded in the hospital to which it closed behind them.
The two walked into the dark lobby, with Arion using his energy for torchlight. They could see the many chairs of the waiting area, the vending machines and the reception desk. Alise looked round "so...which way do we go from here?"
"That part I don't know" said Arion going towards the reception "but maybe the will of Fantasia can" they went to one of the computer screens "where is it, where is it...and aha here we go" Arion took out the memory stick and inserted it into the system.
The computer than flashed on, showing the blue start up screen with applications on it. Just then the voice of Fantasia called "Arion...where-?" Arion quickly shushed her
"shhh...not so loud" said Arion in a loud whisper
"Sorry" the voice replied quietly "where are we?
