As she walked, frisk couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. She continued and made her way into the town of Snowdin. She spoke to as little monsters as she could. "All these disgusting monsters... Better than humans, am I right?" She heard Chara jest. Shaking her head, she had a small little contently plastered smile on her face.

Seeing sans, her plastered smile faded relatively quickly. Oh god, what do I do now... She thought. The knife at the bottom of her bag poked her ever so often, but it was well hidden under a preserved slice of pie, monster candy, and other treats, along with a stick.

"Ah, frisk.. I see you made it back alright." Sans noted. "You feeling okay?"

Frisk gave him a nod and let her arms dangle loosely at her sides.

"Don't lie to me, kid."

She sighed. "Do you want to know the honest truth?" She asked, looking up.

Sans gave a slight nod. "I'd like to know that, yes."

She closed her eyes, hiding the red aura. "Are you sure?"

Sans raised a nonexistent eyebrow. "Your starting to worry me, Frisk."

Her face was mostly hidden by her bangs and her scarf. A small smile crept up on her face and she laughed quietly. Sans took a step back.

"You KnoW i wAs reaLlY getTinG tiRed of bEinG TraPPed in TheRe..." She spoke in a strange, distorted voice.

"Frisk..?" He asked, getting bones at the ready.

A small cackle was heard from the girl. "wrOnG, ComEdIAn.."

With those words, sans knew what was happening. "Chara!" He snarled. "Leave frisk alone! Bring her back!"

"Just When i wAs haVing a LiTTle FUN??" She looked up, her left eye Crimson red and the right frisk's Crystal blue. The girl twitched, shaking her head.

"Sans, run. Chara is trying to take control again. She can't, though, because of my low LOVE." Frisk told Sans, holding her arm. "Please sans..."

Sans narrowed his eyesockets. "So this is what this is all about? really?" He asked.

Frisk furrowed her brow. "If you won't leave, I will." She huffed, walking off. From then on, her left eye would remain Crimson and her mind was flustered with all the thoughts of Chara.

As she walked, she couldn't help but think of all the terrible things Chara would do if she didn't comply. Stopping as she got near Waterfall, she let out a loud scream of frustration. "GOD!" She exclaimed.
Chara was sitting in the middle of the mist.

"What's wrong, frisk? Tired of trying to protect your little friend?" She heard Chara ask in her mind.

Frisk grumbled, sitting next to her. "He's not my friend anymore, Chara."

The words he said during their fight rung in her head like the echo of a bell. "I know you didn't answer me before, but.. somewhere in there. I can feel it. There's a glimmer of a good person inside of you. The memory of someone who once wanted to do the right thing. someone who, in another time, might have even been.. A friend?"

Chara looked to Frisk. Her mouth was just a line at this point. "Stop thinking about it." She told Frisk.

"c'mon, buddy. do you remember me?"

Chara grew angry. "I said stop."

"please, if you're listening... let's forget all of this, ok?"

Frisk's eyes watered. The bi-coloured eyes shone with regret..

Guilt...

Pain...

"just lay down your weapon, and... well, my job will be a lot easier."

Frisk stood. "If you make me kill papyrus..." She spoke to Chara. "Or Alphys or Undyne or anyone... Even sans..." Her blue eye shone with a strange purple aura.

"Y O U W I L L N O T B E F O R G I V E N."

*Hi! Thank you for reading this chapter! I would love it if you guys could give me any ideas for side quests and ideas to help improve the plot. I'm pleased on how this came out and how long it's been getting in chapter length. I cut this one short because I felt like it needed to be. The art is not mine, neither is Undertale and its characters.(see what I did there?)*
