*I hope signed the form to go on the feels trip*
Frisk tensed, blowing air out of her lips as she prepared herself for Alphys. She saw Chara leaning next to the door. "Your time is running out here in the underground, Frisk. Finish him, or I'll finish them."
Frisk shuddered, sweat running down her face. "Chara... I.. I won't do it.." She whimpered as she stepped forward, touching the door and it flies open. Taking another breath, she stepped into the lab. It was dark.. Quiet.. There was static on the large tv and the sound consumed the silence of everything else. Stepping forward, the taping of her feet echoed over the static.
The aroma was tense, and Frisk held her arm. "... h-hello..?" The words echoed and chilled her bones. She stepped further into the lab and the doors shut closed and frisk jumped. "A-Alphys..? Th-this isn't very f-funny..."
Stepping further into the lab, she noticed a note. Picking it up, she read it carefully. The note was hastily written and all she could make out was "don't", "Undyne", "hurt", and "sans". Frisk tensed up more. Continuing, she tabbed some InstaNoodles and left the lab, heading for the CORE.
She climbed the elevators and reached the top, nearing the core. As she did, she realized how quiet it was. "Hello...?" She asked. It was just like the genocide run. Then she saw Chara.
"What's the matter? Scared? Worried?" She laughed maniacally.
Frisk shuddered. "Leave me alone." She snapped, walking up to the CORE. The inside of the CORE was hot, and loud. The sound of clanking and wooshing filled the atmosphere as did the tapping of her feet as she walked.
There was something up ahead and frisk's bicoloured eyes shut tightly as she wished for the shadow figure to disappear. When she opened them again, they were not gone. She swallowed her fear and stepped forward, but suddenly she couldn't step any further.
There was nothing but silence from the figure as the clanking and grinding of the CORE played in the background. "You know.. I've been watching you." The voice was familiar. It must have been sans.
Frisk gulped down a dry throat. "Talking to yourself, mental break downs in fights.." It chuckled. "You sure are strange this run." Stepping out of the shadows, she knew it was Sans now.
"I've heard you talking about how you gotta kill someone.. And that you don't want to." Frisk clenched her jaw, not wanting to say anything. "And how much you loved every monster and didn't want to do it all over again. " sans was looking down, his hands in his pockets and his shoulders slumped over.
"Look kid.. I heard you talking in your sleep when you fell down in Waterfall.." Looking up, his pupils were gone. "I know you have to kill me."
Frisk shivered, despite the overwhelming heat. "S-sans.. I.. I won't." Yet she reached in her bag and grabbed a knife. She wasn't in control anymore.
Sans sighed, backing up slightly. "Frisk.." He started. "I'm letting you kill me. Right here, right now." He took his hands out and spread his arms wide. "If you really have to kill me, then do it!" He was getting slightly agitated as his pupils returned, his words echoing in the CORE louder than the CORE itself.
Frisk backed up, her knife glowing red. "I.. I don't want to sans..!" Her eyes filled with tears as her wobbly legs stepped forward. There was a throbbing thought that told her to take the kill. Her stomach ached with memories and her head throbbed with fear. "Sans please!" She cried.
Sans stood there. His eyes seemed to be filled with much conflicting emotion. He knew she didn't want to kill him, but he accepted his fate in this reset. "Just kill me! What are you waiting for?!" He shouted at her, his arms still spread wide.
Frisk began to sob loudly as she jabbed the knife into something. She didn't know what it was, but all she heard was a sigh. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Opening her eyes, she saw the knife.
"Kid..." He said. The smile on his face was nonexistent. "You didn't have to do that."
Frisk huffed a laugh between sobs. She looked up, blood running from her mouth. "I did, sans.." She grabbed the knife and took it from her stomach. Blood poured from her stab wound. She did it. She had overcome Chara.
"I.." Sans started, looking down at the massive amount of blood that spills from her wound.
Frisk smiled, accepting the fact that she was to die and face this ending over and over. After a long moment after sans began to speak, she closed her eyes. Just then, she heard his gruff voice cut through the sounds of clanking and groaning mechanics.
"I forgive you. For.. For everything."
Frisk felt light, her head bobbing. She was to die. Opening her eyes, her vision was blurry. The last thing she saw was falling; but into the arms of Sans.
