"SANS!" Frisk shouted, shooting out of bed. She was shiver and fell down due to weakness. Hyperventilating, the brunette held her knees close.
Fumbling up from his sleeping spot, standing in the corner, sans fell on his face. Seeing she was okay, he ran up and hugged her tightly. "Oh god, kid, you scared me.."
Frisk was stunned at first, but threw her arms around him. "Sans.." She said quietly. "W-what happened?"
Sans picked her up, sitting her down on the bed. Her clothes had been washed and put back on her, and so had she. Did sans bathe her? Frisk blushed hard at the thought. She noticed all the little wounds where flowey's vines pierced her skin.
"Well, let me explain." He started.
~Flashback~
"Unhand the kid or I'll kill you both, right here, right now." Sans said. He knew he wasted all his magic on the Gaster blaster, but they probably didn't know that.
"Oh? Says who? The monster with no magic left?" Chara said, laughing. Damnit, they knew.
"Just do it. Don't make me do something in gunna regret later on." Sans' eyes(?) narrowed and one glowed a cyan blue.
Chara laughed, swinging her knife. Sans gathered enough magic to use his telekinesis to use her momentum to cut through some of flowey's vines. The vines got tighter, blood oozing from the bundle of vines that encased Frisk.
Sans' grew angry at this point. He let out a battle cry as he full on attacked Chara with his fists, punching her repeatedly. "I SAID UNHAND HER!" He roared, pounding the living daylights out of the kid. Kicking the knife away, he pinned her down, blood staining his jacket and his bones, he kicked her as she tried escaping.
She spat in his face, but it eventually ran down and fell back into hers. "You know you are weak, so you are reduced to a simple fist fight? Tsktsktsk... Pitiful."
Sans let out an unearthly growl and head butt Chara, knocking her out. "Says the bitch who murdered my brother ruthlessly twice in a row." He spat back, kicking her again as he stood. Seeing blood oozing more from the wad of vines, he rushed over.
Placing a hand on the vines, he jerked his hand back and Inhaled sharply. "Damnit," he muttered under his breath. He turned around and saw Flowey dragging Chara. Turning back around, he sucked in some air and grabbed where the thorns seemed lesser.
He puffed out the air and used all his strength to pull the vine apart. Letting out a scream that gave even himself chills (lol probably not tho he's a skeleton. ~DDC), sans panted. "God... DAMNIT!" He shouted, tugging at the vines again.
Some of the vines got loose and he tugged at those, wincing at the unbearable itching pain that covered his hands. Despite this, he kept going. "Frisk?" He asked. He heard a moan and pulled faster. "Frisk I'm coming!"
As the vines let loose, he dug into them and grabbed the bloody girl. "Oh god, frisk..." He said his breath. Picking her up, he carried her, bridal style, all the way to his house. There, he would set her down on the couch. "I hope your wear bras, kid, cause I ain't lookin' at your breasts.. Though you need to get clean and I'm sure when ya wake up that's the last thing that's gunna be on your mind."
He pulled the turtle neck to the side and was relieved to see a little white strap. He took off her sweater and shirt, washing it. Sans had her under a blanket so she wouldn't get cold. After he was done washing the shirt, he rung it dry and hung it up. Doing the same for the pants, he sighed. Getting a sponge, he cleaned her wounds.
Luckily, the vines didn't grab up near her womanhood so he didn't have to feel guilty cleaning her legs. Then, he would clean her stomach and arms. Sans dried her off, putting her back on the couch and put the blanket back over her.
As her clothes dried, he put them back on her and brought her up to Papyrus' room again. That bed was more comfortable than his own, anyway. He watched over her until after an hour he fell asleep in the corner of the room.
As sans explained this, Frisk blushed even more red. She tried hiding her face but was rather grateful that he would do this for her. "You didn't have to save me, sans.. I ran off, when I shouldn't've."
Sans smiled, rubbing the back of his skull. "Eh, I don't mind it. You're my last hope.. Ya know?"
Frisk flinched at the words. "W-whys that..?"
Sans chuckled, yawning slightly. "Well, papyrus is gone. Grillby, thank god, was evacuated. And then there's you.. Frisk." He cleared his nonexistent throat. "Well.. I remember how great friends you were to me. And to papyrus. I remember all the fun things we did, all the nice things you did for papyrus too. I remember staying awake for hours as papyrus just went on and on about his new human friend. He would even talk to me at night.. He.. Usually avoided me at night." The chubby skeleton shrugged. "He.. Really loved you. In a good way. He even gave up his dream to be friends with you. Hell, I couldn't even do that for someone, and you know how I hate pursuing things." He laughed as frisk let out a small giggle.
The girl sighed. "I.. I guess.. I miss those times.. I wish I hadn't reset to much, sans.. I wish I took your advice last time and just saved you guys one last time and never reset again."
Sans shrugged, looking to the books in on the wall. "We're not perfect, kid. No one is."
Frisk nodded, reaching to hug sans. He sighed, placing a bony hand on her back. "Cmon now kid, we have to stop Chara before she does anything else."
~Meanwhile~
Chara growled. "You let him get away?!" She shouted at her little flower friend.
Flowey winced, his leaves quivering. "I wanted to protect you!" He shouted in his defense.
Chara held up her locket, a little white pulse inside shone through the hinges. "I have half his SOUL, and half of mine. I'll be FINE."
Flowey gulped, his eyes small and pleading. "I-I still don't see why we need Asgore, Chara.. I don't wanna drag anyone else into this.."
Chara smiled and her red eyes glowed with mischief. "Oh, don't worry, Asriel. I have a plan..."
