Chara hastily made her way along the snowy land. Killing everything in her way was the easy part. It was all easy for that matter! They all deserved it.

"No they don't, Chara." She heard a voice say and noticed it was Frisk.

"Since when did you figure that out?" Chara asked, leaning on a tree.

Frisk sighed. "Chara please... It's not too late to turn back!"

Chara laughed and got up. "Frisk.. If love to stay and chat, but I got more important things to do." And with that, she left.

She soon met face to face with Papyrus. "HUMAN!" He called. Noticing something strange, he looked around and didn't notice his brother. "WHERE IS MY BROTHER?"

Chara shrugged, a smirk on her face. "Hell if I care." She stated, a laugh escaping her mouth as she advanced on Papyrus with a knife.

Papyrus looked worriedly at Chara. "HUMAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT KNIFE?"

Her red eyes were hidden well by her bangs. Taking another step, she said nothing. "YOU KNOW... I DONT THINK WE HAVE TO FIGHT. I- I BELIEVE THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS!"

Chara tilted her head slightly but didn't say anything or even look up. "I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A PEACEFUL SIDE TO EVERYTHING! IF I CAN FIND IT IN MY BROTHER I CAN FIND IT IN YOU!"

She huffed out a small laugh. Chara noticed a blue flicker in the background. She had to do it now or sans would get the opportunity to take this chance away. "I WANT TO PERSONALLY GIVE YOU LESSONS ON HOW TO BE GOOD! J-JUST DONT KILL. SIMPLE AS THAT, RIGHT?"

Chara looked up, her red eyes burning. "I wish it were that simple, little naive Papyrus." She stepped closer.

"I-I SEE YOU ARE APPROACHING! C-COULD IT HE FOR A H-HUG OF ACCEPTANCE OF MY GOODNESS LESSONS?" He was nervous, but stuck out.

Sans tried running and taking the blow that Chara struck out, but he was too late. By the time he got there, Papyrus was dust and all that was left was his battle body and his scarf. "No..." He said, eyes tearing up. "I-I... I was too late... Again..." Picking up the scarf, sans buried his face into it as he sobbed.

...

Chara continued. Her feet dragged in the snow as it warmed up and she entered the empty waterfall. The silence was cut by the rushing water. After killing many monsters and completing the puzzles, she stopped in her tracks. "I know you are there, comedian. You should really get lessons in sneaking," she teased.

"Wasn't tryin' to, brat." He snapped. "I needa ask you something." He was weak, but he could put up a good fight.

Chara turned around, leaning on the wall. "What is it, old man?"

Sans glared at Chara. "What do you get from this?"

She was slightly taken back by this. "What's that supposed to mean?"

He shrugged. "What do you get from all this? Why kill everything? For fun? Are you being made to do this?" Looking down, his shoulders slumped. "Why?"

Chara stumbled on her words. "I.. Uh.. THATS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" She finally shouted, her knife unsheathed and pointed at Sans.

He looked up. "Neither was killing my brother." The red scarf fluttered in the wind of Waterfall.

Chara smirked. "So that's what this is about..."

Sans shook his head and sighed, rubbing his bridge to his "nose". "That is not at all what I am saying. Could you just-" but he was cut off.

"Look, I'd love to stay and chat but I've got things I need to tend to." Chara said, getting off the wall and began walking off.

"Just tell me."

Stopping, Chara sighed. "You wouldn't understand.."

Sans shrugged, "I understand more than your think."

Chara's shoulders bobbed as if she were crying. After a moment, she spoke up. "I can tell you why I'm doing it.. Or why she's doing it.."

Sans raised a metaphorical eyebrow. "What are you saying, Chara?"

She sighed. "What I'm saying is she started this mess..." Her eye shone through her hair and tears poured from her eyes as she faked it. "A N D  I M    G O I N G  T O  F I N I S H  I T! "With that, Chara began to run at sans with her knife dangling in her hand.

As Chara approached, sans used what little magic he had to throw the demonic girl a little ways away. With this, he would uprise bones from the earth below them and in the way of Chara.

The girl would jump from side to side, only being slightly snipped by one of the sharp bones. Her eyes shone with a genocidal intention as she made jabbing motions to try and slay Sans. Getting close, Chara cut into the unzipped portion of sans' jacket.

"That was too close for comfort," he grunted, scratching up what very little magic he had left in his SOUL to summon a Gaster!Blaster and shoot at Chara. After this, he was too vulnerable. He had to escape.

-Inside Chara's SOUL-

Frisk sobbed, sitting on her knees. She was powerless without her DETERMINATION, but she had to SAVE Sans. Shouting for him to get out, a spark of something reminiscing inside her. Something like a memory; a hope. Then, she looked to the TRUE SOUL and saw the white pulsing. She held onto the hope; that memory.. The DETERMINATION to SAVE sans.

"I won't let you kill him!" She shouted, that echoing in the SOUL and obviously in Chara's mind. The SOUL cracked, and so did the TRUE SOUL. Frisk stood in the middle, pulling apart the casing of the SOUL as she tried to exit and become apart of the physical world again. As she did this, she grabbed the cracking TRUE SOUL and fought against the tugging instinct to stay.

She saw something.. It was sans! She noticed Chara screaming bloody murder as she exited her body and entered the physical world. There was a loud, rushing wind and she looked down. Frisk saw that the two were suspended in air and suddenly they both fell to the ground.

Sans looked to the two. There were.. Two humans. Chara, and Frisk. "But.. How?" He mumbled to himself, the winds covering up his voice. "The experiments of breaking a soul in half and fusing it all failed..." Looking to frisk, who breathes heavily, he shrugged, extending a bony hand. "Need a hand?" He smiled. "..or so I thought," he mumbled again.

Hey guys!! Sorry if this is a bit confusing. I don't know why it's so weird, but when I was drawing a comic about it it made more sense lol.*
