"No!" Sans shouted. Time seemed to slow down as he shoved Asgore out of the way and ran to Frisk. "Nonono, Frisk, please.." Little blue tears formed in Sans' eye sockets.

Frisk's Crystal blue eyes looked up at him and she smiled. "Please..." She showed him her black and red SOUL. "Take my SOUL.. end this.. once.." She coughed blood and sans pulled her close. "And for all.."

Sans held her tighter as suddenly she went limp. He shook. "no.." He shook her body and let out an unearthly scream that rattled his own bones. He felt something in his own SOUL as Frisk's portion of the little SOUL broke off, making its way to Sans' soul. He did not fight as suddenly he was filled with something strange.. It felt good.. It gave him reason. It gave him...

Sans winced as his magic was filled to the brim and as Chara attempted to attack him, he shot a Gaster Blaster at her. She dodged, but a hole was blown in the darkness cocoon. "You know," he said as he stood, "The little lady wants me to tell you.." A fiery blue magic was seen flowing from both his eyesockets. "She doesn't forgive you for what you've done. And that you and her are in a little.. Quarrel." He smiled, turning around and narrowed his eyes. "And that I should finish it."

Chara shot knives of darkness at him, but sans used bones to break the knives. "I dunno... What do you think, Asgore? Flowey?"

The old man smiled and nodded. "Do it, Sans. Finish this." The little flower nodded.

Chara growled. "This is my world! I will destroy you! Each and every one of you!" Fury enflamed her face and she shot knives toward Sans. Bones blocked the knives made of shadows and his eyes burned with DETERMINATION.

"Chara," he stared, shooting blasters at the girl and the devil child shooting tentacles of darkness at him. "None of this is yours. The only thing that is yours is a special place I like to call..." He teleported right behind her and looked down at her. When she quickly turned around, he grabbed her by the neck. "Hell."

Suddenly, a beam of white shine from Sans' eyes. It took up the room and soon everything was white. All that was heard before everything going white was a terrible scream of agony. Sans pried his eyes open and saw the RESET button.

He looked around. He was suspended in air, nothing but white and little blue specs were seen. Sans paid no attention to his clothing to notice they were gone. He was shocked as a girl came into view. She was familiar. "Chara?" He asked. His voice was different, slightly higher and less of a thick accent on it.

She smiled. "No.." The girl's voice was soft and kind. Her eyes were closed and her hair flowed slowly, as if a small breeze were constantly going past her. "Don't you know how to greet and old friend?"

Sans' eyesockets widened and suddenly she moved to him and hugged him tightly. "Did I.. Do it?" He asked, holding her.

She nodded, hugging his bare bones tightly. "You did.. Now all you have to do is reset. I sadly can't press it, but I'm sure you can."

Sans blinked at her. "Frisk.." He started. "What's going to happen now? They all died.. And Chara had half of my SOUL when she.. Well.." He looked to the side.

Frisk pulled away from the hug and put a hand on his shoulder and the other hand held his, their fingers interlocking with each other. "We have to face this problem face-first. We can do it, Sans.. Together."

Sans sighed. "But frisk.. I.. I don't know if I want to see what comes next."

She giggled softly to herself, opening her eyes and holding his hands close to her chest. "You know.. After resetting the Genocide Run, I was so scared. I was scared you wouldn't forgive me. I was scared that I would just start killing again, and I didn't want to get close to you guys this run because of it." She smiled. "And then Chara kept telling me to kill you and i knew I couldn't bring myself to do it - even if I wanted to. I tried to fight her and I ended up winning in the end."

Sans looked down. "But then what happened in this past timeline?"

Frisk sighed. "When I was resetting, as I was pressing the button, Chara killed me. I don't know how she did it, but somehow she gained control over that screen. Anyway, she got control of my body in the next timeline. However, when I had enough of her torment, I somehow split the TRUE SOUL that was carrying two SOULs. I made two brand new SOULs - both were half and half of me and Chara's. I knew that if I killed myself, Chara's physical form would fade as well, but she needed to be wiped from existence by your magic. I know you can do all that forth wall stuff, and it was a little confusing until I got here. I knew that with my DETERMINATION, you would get more magic than you ever had in this existence. So I gave you my SOUL. Well, the little portion of it I had. My other half has faded, along with your other half. It won't be remade either."

Sans sighed. "So that's it, huh? We just perish and there will be no more resets? No more frisk, no more Sans. We won't even be memories.."

Frisk blinked and shook her head. "I do not know what will happen. But.. Whatever does happen.. I'll be here with you." She held up his hand and cupped her hand over his cheek. "Always."

Sans looked at her and smiled. Nodding, he gestured for them to make their way to the reset button. "Together, okay?"

She smiled. "Together." And it was so. Together, the hands that did not hold each other pressed the button and they looked at each other, frisk's eyes glistening. "Always."

Suddenly, they both turned to dust and darkness spread over the white place. A True Reset. Could it be? All that sans knew was that things would be very different.
