Callie's P.O.V.
"You did what?" Nathan said, trying to contain his laughter.
I smiled, hiding my laughter with a cough.
"Me and S spent the whole night doing things that I had never done before. One of those things, for example, was rolling a house," I said, repeating the exact words I said a second ago.
His hair fell down into his eyes as his shoulders shook with laughter and his head dropped onto my shoulder.
"That's so cute," He mumbled, finally gaining his composure.
I pressed my lips to his forehead, pulling back to look at him.
His cheeks burned crimson, as well as mine when his lips pecked mine gently.
I smiled at him, taking a deep breath.
"Wanna go out tonight?" He asked, resting his hands on my hips.
I thought for a second, my lip rest between my teeth for a second.
"Sure, where do you wanna go?" I asked, letting my face inch closer to his.
"I don't know, let's get Taco Bell," He mumbled, letting his forehead rest against mine.
"Okay."
I hopped off of the couch we were sitting on, rushing across the room toward the stairs.
"Where are you going?" He called after me.
"To get ready. We're going to Taco Bell, right?" I asked, facing him for a second.
"Yeah, in like an hour, though."
I just let out a loud an annoying laugh to prove a point and jogged up the stairs to get ready.
As I locked my door behind me, I slowed my pace to a walk. I took my time finding an outfit.
I settled on a black sweater that is really thin and a pair of high waisted shorts.
It kind of looks like I'm weather confused but I didn't shave my legs last night just to let a cold front ruin wearing shorts until fall is completely upon us.
I rushed to my bathroom, washing my face before applying a light makeup look.
I put on some primer, base, and contoured. I applied a light layer of tan eyeshadow, making my lids look tan but very neutral.
I smiled at my reflection, realizing that I forgot my mascara.
I quickly applied my smash box mascara, dabbing a bit of highlighter on my cheeks as well.
Now, I'm done.
"Hey, Babe. Are you almost ready?" Nathan called up the stairs.
"Yeah, let's go," I called back to him, turning off my lights and walking down the stairs.
My Birkenstocks were waiting for me by the door, slipping them on I walked straight out the door.
"Someone is eager," Nathan joked, catching up to me and taking my hand in his.
The air around us wasn't a humid hot, or even a bitter cold, it was a very serene atmosphere. The air seemed still and cool, but not too cool for shorts.
"You look beautiful babe," Nathan said, kissing my cheek as he opened the truck door for me.
"No, I wanna drive," I protested, reaching for his keys.
"Fine, but only if you promise not to wreck my baby," He said, a stern look on his face.
"I promise, and thank you," I said, kissing his cheek and taking his keys from him.
