Part 6

It was a bright morning. Blue and blossom were walking back to their guild. They had completed an S-Class job which lasted for about a week, during the time when Natsu, Gray and Lucy went on another job with an S-Class mage named Erza. Their job was extremely weird, in fact. They had to find berries that came to life and attack people in order to make medicine for the sick in a village. "I swear to Kami-sama I'll never go on berry hunting again, d'aho!" muttered the Exceed bitterly.

Blue could only sigh. "No wonder it was on the S-Class request board." she said.

"I mean, what kind of berries attack people, d'aho? And they have weird names, too, d'aho! Paraccho, d'aho? Is that even a scientific name or what, d'aho?" She said.

"Maa, we finished the job, right? Let's just go back and take a rest." she assured. 'And I think you should really work on your catchphrase...' she thought with a sweat drop on the back of her head.

"You're right, d'aho..." She sighed. The two entered the guild to find Natsu and the team missing. "Hm? Where is Pinky and the rest?" he questioned.

"Yesterday, Natsu and Lucy took on an S-Class job without approval." replied Mirajane with anxiety.

The two jaw dropped. "An S-Class job?!" repeated blue. She knew Natsu was ignorant, but she did not think he was that ignorant. She was worried that he, Lucy and Happy's safety. "Which quest did they take?" she asked.

"The cursed island, Galuna."

Blue and blossom hearts dropped to the ground. "Galuna, d'aho?!" repeated blossom . "What were those idiots thinking, d'aho?!" She hissed angrily.

The brown haired girl sighed, calming herself down and asked, "But if they stole it, wouldn't have someone spotted them?"

"Oh, I saw the thief." said a voice from above. The girls and the Exceed looked up at the second floor to see a muscular young man with slicked back blond hair and blueish gray eyes. He had a distinctive lightning bolt-shape scar on his right eye. "It was a winged cat." he added with a smug grin.

"Happy?" questioned blue to herself. She and Mirajane felt heat next to her and turned to look at the source. She yelped when she saw a fuming blossom .

"I'mma kill that lil' piece of crap..." She snarled dangerously.

"B-blossom , calm down..." said Mirajane, trying to calm the Exceed down.

Blue leaped up and landed on the second floor, standing next to the man. "Laxus, if you saw Happy stealing the paper, why didn't you stop him?" she asked.

"Why, princess!" began the said man as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him. "All I saw was a cat burglar running away with a scrap of paper. I had no idea it was Happy." he said.

Blue simply sweat dropped at his answer. 'But I thought a blue Exceed with wings is easy to identify that it's Happy...' she thought before flustering. "A-And didn't I tell you not to call me 'princess'?" she asked, embarrassed.

"Sorry, princess. Old habits can't die." he simply said with a smirk, satisfied to make the girl blush.

"I sent Gray to bring Natsu by force but he has yet to return since yesterday." said Makarov from below. "Blue, blossoms , I hope you don't mind if I ask you both to drag those two and Lucy back here?" he asked.

Blue gently removed herself from Laxus' grasp before jumping down and landed gracefully in front of Makarov, who was on the counter. "I don't mind, but I'm going to need some help. It's not easy to drag someone as stubborn as Natsu." she said.

"Don't worry. I will send Erza when she gets back." he nodded. "What about blossom ?" he questioned.

"Oh, she doesn't mind...at all..." she trailed off nervously as the two took a peek at the Exceed, who finally calmed down after Mirajane served blossoms her favourite chocolate milkshake.
