As soon as everyone left the ruins, Natsu jumped up with joy, cheering that it was finally over. "So true!" agreed Lucy with relief. "I was wondering how this was going to end for a moment there. Ur-san is really incredible."

"With this, we've completed an S-Class quest!" said Natsu happily.

"Hooray!" cheered his Exceed.

"Will we possibly be allowed to enter the second floor now?" wondered Lucy.

Erza had a dark look on her face. Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Gray froze with dear. "Oh, crap..." trailed off the blonde girl. "The punishment still awaits!" she yelled with fear.

"Before that, isn't there something you must do?" asked the scarlet haired girl. "Wasn't the true objective of this job to save the villagers who turned into demons? The S-Class quest has yet to end." she said.

"B-But, Deliora is dead..." trailed off Lucy. "With that, the curse on the village should end-"

"No, d'aho." cut off blossom . "The phenomenon you called a curse wasn't Deliora's influence, d'aho. The tremendous magical power of the Moon Drip caused the disaster that befell these people, d'aho." She then looked up to the violet moon. "Even though Deliora has crumbled, the situation won't improve, d'aho."

"N-No way..." she trailed off.

"Then, let's go and sort that out, shall we?" asked Natsu, raising his hand.

"Aye, sir!" said Happy, giving him a high-five.

"How will we do that?" asked Gray. Then, he realized something and turned to look at Lyon. "Hey, Lyon!" he called.

"Let me say this; I have no idea." he said, crossing his arms as he leaned on a rock.

"What did you say?!" asked Natsu.

"What?!" asked Happy, pointing at him.

"Calm down." said blue, placing one hand on the Exceed's head while the other on the pink haired boy's shoulder, which caused him to fluster.

"YOU LLLIIIIIIIIIKKKKEEE HER~" sang Happy and blossom  in unison mischievously.

"I do not!" yelled Natsu, still flustered.

"If you guys don't know, then how will we lift the curse-"

"Three years ago, when we came to the island, we learned of the village's existence." said Lyon, cutting Lucy off. "But, we never intruded with the villagers. And not once have they come to meet us."

"Not once? In three years?" questioned Erza.

"Now that you mention it, Moon Drip should have shone on the ruins every night, right?" pointed out Lucy. "Isn't it strange that they've never investigated the place?" she asked.

"Even the influence of Moon Drip on the human body is questionable, d'aho." said blossom .

"What? Are you trying to imply that it wasn't your fault?" asked Natsu, looking at Lyon.

"Think about it." he said. "For the past three years, we have been exposed to the same light as well."

"Right, that's true!" exclaimed Lucy.

"Be careful." he warned. "They might be hiding something. Well, it's a guild's job from here on, isn't it?"

"I don't agree!" argued Natsu. "You guys nearly destroyed the village-" He was cut off when blue   pushed his jaw to stop him from talking. He blushed at the contact, much to the two Ice Make mages' jealousy.

"Enough of that." said Erza, remembering what the canine man had told her when blue  and blossom  left him. "They, too, had their personal justifications. There is no need to point out faults anymore. Let's go." she said as she turned to head back to the village.
