Blue felt someone shaking her. She opened her eyes and her gaze landed on a crying Natsu. Next to him were the worried Exceeds, even Happy cried a little. A smile broke on the Fire Dragon Slayer's face, as if he had finally found Igneel after all those years. "BLUE !" he exclaimed happily and hugged her tightly. He knew she would be fine, but seeing her get hurt like that reminded him of when they first battled; and he brought that regret throughout his life."What happened?" she asked, slowly getting up with his help.
"Someone ambushed us and managed to attack you." replied Happy, wiping his tears away. "Natsu tried to wake you up but you didn't, so we got worried."
"I see." she said. With his help, she stood on the ground and looked around. "Where are we?" she wondered out loud.
"Beats me, d'aho." said blossom .
"Salamander!" yelled a voice nearby. They turned around to see a man with his left eye covered in a simple, dark eye-patch, held up by an extremely slim rope with a thin scar emerging from under it and going down diagonally on his cheek. His jaw was obscured by an armoured metal plate, bearing lines of studs on its upper edges and two side protrusions jutting upwards, plus a set of teeth-like ornaments, overall resembling a skeletal jaw. The top of his head was covered in a light cloth wrapped around it, tied on the back, where a pair of long wrappings were left hanging over his neck with another one hanging on the right of his face, resembling a turban.
"Huh? Who are you?" questioned Natsu. He stood in front of Blue protectively, in case the man was going to hurt her.
"Natsu!" said Happy, recognizing the man. "This guy, he's one of the blockhead's friends!"
"Which means, you are Jellal's subordinate, right?" questioned the pink haired boy.
"You're wrong!" protested the man. "I'm your ally! I was just pretending to be deceived by Jellal. All in order to stop him."
"I don't believe you!" said Happy suspiciously.
"Wait." said blossom . Blue raised an eyebrow at her. Somehow, she had finally stop using his catchphrase in every word or sentence she said. "Is that really the truth?" She asked.
"Yes." was the man's reply.
"Who is this Jellal?" asked Natsu. "What's his objective in setting up this stupid game?"
"He's the younger twin of a member of the Magic Council, Siegrain." explained the man. "He must have figured the Council would resort to using Etherion."
"What? A sibling's quarrel?" concluded the Fire Dragon Slayer.
The man looked down. "I wonder..." he trailed off. "Even I don't have a single clue about what happened between them." Suddenly, they heard the humanoid owl's voice and prepared to fight. He stood on a chain and the man recognized him. "This guy is..." he trailed off.
"I won't tolerate any violation of the rules!" said the owl. "I shall pass judgement upon you in the name of justice! The Warrior of Justice, Fukuro, has arrived, hoo-hoot!"
"A bird!" exclaimed Happy.
"A bird chirping about justice?" wondered Natsu with blue lines below his eyes.
"This is bad..." said the man. "Dark Moment!" He moved his hands with the index and middle fingers outstretched, and the others bent as he turned everything pitch black.
"I can't see anything!" cried the pink haired boy as he clung onto an unfazed Blue.
"I knew it, he's the enemy!" declared Happy but someone smacked his head.
