Part 7

The team was asleep. Lucy and Happy were on the floor while Natsu was snoring on the ground as well. Blue slept next to Gray. Her head was on his shoulder as his arm wrap around her waist. His head leaned on top of her head. Blossom was in her arms asleep as well. Suddenly, the cave shook, causing some rocks to fall from the ceiling. This woke the team up. "What's that noise?" asked Lucy, rubbing her eyes.

"Night already?!" asked Natsu as he shot up.

Gray, blue  and Blossom woke up as well. A giant purple magic circle appeared from above as light shone on the frozen monster. "Light's shining down..." trailed off Lucy.

"...from the ceiling!" continued Natsu.

"Violet light!" exclaimed Gray. "It's moonlight!"

"What is this?" asked Happy.

"What the heck is going on, d'aho?" wondered Blossom.

"It's shining on Deliora." said Gray.

"This can't be a coincidence." said Natsu.

"Let's go!" said Gray. "We'll search for the source of the light!" The team wasted no time as they ran out from the cave. The violet light continued to shine on the monster. They ran up to one floor up to see the light penetrated through the giant purple magic circle from above. "A magic circle spreading over the center of the ruins?" wondered Gray.

"It's further up!" said Natsu as they continued running up.

Finally, they arrived at the top. They saw a group of people surrounding the light as they chanted a spell. The violet light came from above and through below the ruins. "Zeram...sem... Dialuna!" they chanted. "Kuupelar Kulrakar Zeram...sem... Dialuna!"

"What's that?" wondered Natsu as they hid.

The team looked up to see purple magic circles and it led to the moon above. "The moon!" exclaimed Gray quietly.

"Are they really collecting the light from the moon?" questioned Natsu.

"What are they trying to achieve by shining it on Deliora?" asked Lucy.

"That's a chant in Belianese, Moon Drip." said blue . "I see. So that's what this is about."

"What? What is it?" asked Lucy.

"They are trying to resurrect Deliora using Moon Drip." she replied.

"Nani?" exclaimed Natsu.

"That's ridiculous!" said Gray. "Ice Shell is ice that can't be melted!"

"Moon Drip is the magic that can melt it." explained blue. "The collective magic of the moon has the power to dispel any magic."

"No way!" said Happy.

"Those guys don't realise the horror of Deliora!" snarled Gray.

"And I personally think the phenomenon that the islanders believe to be a curse is a side-effect of Moon Drip." added blue.

"Damn them!" cursed Natsu as he was about to head towards them.

"Matte!" scolds Lucy, using her elbow to hit Natsu in the face. "Someone's coming!"

A man walked towards the scene. He sported a large white cape, with a wide collar, golden edges and fur trimmings over the shoulders, held closed by belt, adorned by a stylized snake with rectangular coils, and its corresponding buckle, with more belts and buckles. Below his cape, he wore a blue, high-collared tunic with golden edges, reaching down below his knees, with the part coming down from below the simple belt tied around his waist having an opening in the front.
