GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS?
SARA'S BIRTHDAY!
SO IN RESPECT OF HER, EXTRA UPDATES TODAY!
Guys, I love this chapter sooo much.

That night, they were getting ready for bed. Arizona had gone into the bathroom and locked Callie out again. So she was sitting perched on the bed, waiting for Arizona to emerge. She wanted to try something with Zona, but she didn't know if she should. She wanted Arizona to get used to her again. It didn't have to be much, but she thought desperately that if she could reconnect with Arizona somehow it might spark Arizona's old self. When Arizona came out of the bathroom, Callie watched her. This wasn't her Arizona. This Arizona was shaky, unsure, and nervous. This Arizona carried herself differently.

"Arizona," Callie said.

"Yes, Callie," Arizona replied, coming around to her side of the bed.

Callie put her hand on Arizona's cheek. "I miss you."

"But...I'm here."

"You're not all here," Callie said.

Arizona noticed her getting closer. Her heart beat picked up. "What are you doing?"

Callie kissed her, pressing her lips to Arizona's unmoving ones. She felt Arizona go rigid. She put her other hand on Arizona's arm, pressed her lips to Zona's harder, begging for a response. She got one.
Arizona shoved her away forcefully, her case file scattered onto the floor. "What the hell?"

"What are you doing?" Arizona asked again.

"What I usually do!" Calliope snapped. "That's what we're supposed to be doing right? Getting back to our normal life. Except I don't know what to do, or say, or think. I don't even know how to breathe! I need you, to breathe, I need you. And you, you aren't here. Because you're still trapped there."

Arizona was wide eyed, pressed back against the headboard.

"You're scared to death of me and I don't know why! We got you out physically, but I can't get you out psychologically." Calliope got out of bed. "And then, I try to kiss you because that's what I do before bed. I kiss you goodnight! And you throw my work all over the room!" She scooped up the papers. "So good freaking night!"

She slammed the bedroom door and began sobbing, sliding down to the floor. Arizona would have come after her, but she knew that tonight she was alone, because Arizona wasn't Arizona anymore. Her heart was breaking. They had taken her world from her. She tossed the papers for the case file aside and hugged her knees to her chest. Sob after sob escaped her. It had been a bad idea. It had been. She knew it wasn't Zona's fault. She sobbed harder. "Baby, come back to me."

Arizona heard Callie sobbing outside the door. Something told her to go out and get her, but she couldn't. She didn't understand what was happening to her. She had hurt Callie, but that kiss had felt wrong, like Callie wanted something from her, something that wasn't there. She couldn't just perform, not anymore. She was not a sex slave. The things the sisters had done to her were engraved in her memory. The ways they had molested her were branded into her skin.

"Literally," she thought out loud, absentmindedly touching her brand. She had been forced to greet Penny at the door. Whitney had done terrible, demeaning things to her.

I'll put in bold when it's over.
She made her touch herself, whipping her with a crop if she stopped. She tried to make it as light as possible because she knew Whitney wouldn't let her cum, but she knew what she was doing. Whitney made her beg her to fuck her, smacking her cheeks if she didn't. She made her beg her to give her permission to fuck her. She made her pinch and distend her own nipples while Whitney paced alligator clamps on them. Whitney made her count the number of thrusts it took for her to get Callie to her climax. She gave her slutty outfits and made her give her a strip tease. She used tiger balm as lubricant and shoved thing after unnatural thing in to her vagina. Whitney left her chained in unnatural positions until her bones felt like they would break, her collarbone snapped. She choked her until she passed out. She made her go down on her of her own accord. Whitney made her do the sexy and alluring things she had only ever done for Arizona.
Done!
Sorry about that, it's just more realistic is Arizona's flashbacks are accurate.
Her nerves slowly calmed and she slid in between the sheets. Callie was still at the door. She could see the shadow form the light that snuck into the dark room. She could hear her heart wrenching sobs. Arizona watched the shadow until she drifted off to sleep.

She was woken hours later. "What? What? Was I screaming again?"

"No," Callie's soft voice met her ears through the dark and she tensed. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry?"

"I shouldn't have said what I did, Zona. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," Callie said. "I know it's not your fault. I shouldn't have tried to kiss you. I shouldn't have accused or blamed. I'm sorry. I should be stronger for you."

"Calliope, when did you last sleep?" Arizona asked groggily.

"That's not important."

It grew quiet and Arizona wondered if Callie was still there. "Cal?"

"I will never walk away again, Arizona," she breathed, right by Arizona's ear. "I will never blame you for any of this again. My being tired is not an excuse. I will never walk away again."

Arizona turned over and her hands sought out Callie's face. Her fingers felt slick skin and she knew the Latina was crying silently.

Taking a shaky, deep breath, she leaned forward and ghosted her lips against Calliope's. Callie responded, however slightly.

Arizona felt something deep within her stir from its slumber.
