I remember waking up in the morning as the thought of my last dream lingered in another one. Donovan woke because of me at six in the morning and instead of going back to sleep, we stayed up as he held me. And of course that led to sex. Again.

"What was your dream about?" He asked me as I lie across his chest. I was running my fingers up and done the toned muscles but he caught my attention again when he said my name.

"Emery, it's alright. I'll be your husband one day and you can tell me everything that's troubling you, babe." I sighed against his chest before placing a quick kiss on his lips.

"We were in such a beautiful scenery with the sun in our faces even though we were miles deep into the forest. You had set up a little picnic for us and everything was great and so beautiful." He arched an eyebrow in worry.

"What happened next?" I hesitated to answer.

"A gunshot went off and then I was ready for us to run but you.." I looked up into his eyes and he knew what happened next.

"You gave me a white rose and then-"

     "A white rose?"

     "Yeah."

"That symbolized death," he murmured quietly as he tugged the ends of my hair. I widened my eyes a little.

"It was a horrible dream," I breathed.

"I know. You were kicking me in your sleep," he chuckled.

"That's not funny!" I said as I punched his shoulder. He slightly frowned at me.

"I know. But I think you bruised me," he informed. A ghost of a smile settled on my lips.

"Pierce and Vincent ran in and then Charlie when they heard you screaming. If we didn't live so far from the city, I think you could have screamed them all down," he exaggerated.

"I was screaming?" Wow. This was news to me and the thought of it sort of provoked me. He nodded. I was in my train of thoughts as I stared out into the window with the sun beaming in. His warm skin pressed against mine as he ran his hand through my hair.

"What are you thinking of?" He asked. I slowly moved my eyes to his before smiling.

"Let's get marry. Right now." His eyes widened at my words before he grinned down at me. I don't know how we were going to pull it off but we were.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Donovan asked as he got up.

"Let's go get marry," I exclaimed before jumping into his arms.

"How are you feeling, Mrs. Saint?" Donovan asked as he glanced from me to the front as his hand rested against the wheel and the other out the window. The wind blew in my hair as I smiled at him.

"I'm doing good, husband." He grinned widely before he pressed a quick kiss on my lips. Mrs. Emery Jane Saint. I'm going to have to get used to that from now on.

"How long have you known the priest?" I questioned him as I ran my fingers with his. He smiled.

"For ten years or so. I didn't think he'd still be at that old church but he was. We were lucky," he said. I nodded.

"No matter what..." Donovan said to me. I held on tighter to his hand before his eyes met mine.

"I will always love you, Emery Jane Saint. You were my beginning and you will be my ending. No matter what happens," he assured me. I nodded as I smiled sadly.

"I think we should go home and tell everyone we are married now, Donovan." He flinched a little.

"I might get my ass beaten for doing it without my brothers there but we could always have a wedding with just them," he said to me. I nodded.

"You are so going to get your ass kicked!" I laughed. He nudged my shoulder and laughed.

"Wow. I know you have my side on this, Em," he said sarcastically. I grinned at him.

I have had such a fun time writing this story although it took me awhile and I am so sad that  it's ending. The unanswered questions will be answered in the next book, Pierce ((: ❤️
