I closed my eyes again as he pressed his palms beside me, thrusting still. My mind didn't even take in the fact that he had just asked me to marry him.
"Marry me, Em," he groaned. My nails dug into his back as he suddenly pressed his body onto mine, the pressure between us rising. He thrusts once, hard. He thrusts again, and he's gone, he's off into the bliss that consumed us both as I had climaxed right after him. He groans in that soaring agonizing perfection. I opened my eyes as I had watched his expression and he was a sex God for all I know. We're lost in each other, not just for this moment we just shared but forever. I will never love someone as much as I love Donovan because he is a part of me now. He has always been. He falls down onto me, our sweaty bodies against each other but then he quickly picks himself up, resting on his elbows and looking at me.
"I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" I chuckled and shook my head.
"No.." I said quietly. He looked at me cautiously for I hadn't fully answered his question.
"What's wrong?" I hesitated before grinning at him.
"It was perfect," I whispered. His expression softened before he leaned forward, pressing a kiss against my lips. It turned hungry as we continued caressing each other but I loved every second.
We both fell asleep but the last thing that wandered my mind was his question. Did he mean it? Did he really want me to marry him?
I woke up with his warm body pressed against my back and I sighed in relief. He suddenly woke as his body stretched against mine and then his arm wrapped around my waist as he pulled me closer so his chin rested on top of my head.
"So?" His deep and tired voice said in a questioned tone. I arched an eyebrow.
"So what?"
"Will you marry me?" I widened my eyes as I slowly sat up. His eyes lingered on my bare body before I grabbed the sheets to wrap around my chest. He pulled it away of course.
"Don't cover up," he said.
"Look up here then," I said as his eyes made its way to mine. He shrugged with a smile before sitting up with me.
"Did you really mean it?" I asked hesitantly. His eyes narrowed as he reached for my hands.
"Of course I meant it. We've known each other for six years, Em."
"Yeah and out of those six, we didn't see each other for four years," I reminded him. He slouched.
"I want to marry you, Emery Jane. I just want to know that our life together will be for always, baby. But we can wait until you're ready because I would rather wait until you want to get married. I've made a lot of your decisions for you and I'm sorry for that. Now I want you to decide our life together. We can both plan our forever together actually," he smiled as he brought my hands up to his lips, pressing a kiss against it. I wiped the tears that threatened me.
"Of course I want to marry you, Donovan. But where would we find a priest to marry us? You're still on the list of wanted criminals," I reminded him. He shrugged.
"I don't know. But I do know that I want you to be mine forever." I leaned forward as my arms wrapped around him. Of course I would be his.
"Always yours, remember?"
"Ha. Is that our saying now?" He asked. I laughed before nodding.
"Of course it is. What, since like our senior year. Well, mine at least considering you weren't really the age that you claimed," I said casually as he pecked a kiss on my cheek.
