Out of touch so far (part 1)

(jinxx POV)

I woke up early in the morning, which was unusual because I usually woke up around noon, when the band was on break.

I looked at the clock and it was barely 8:30 am.fuck...its early.

I got out of bed and stretched, then headed for the kitchen.

I made myself a cup of coffee and a bowl of cheerios.

I had gotten used to the house being soo quiet.after soo long, silence was the only thing I was sure of that I couldnt lose.

once I finished my breakfast I headed back to my room to get dressed for the day.

I found an old pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of black converse.

the only thing I couldnt find was my favorite old vneck tshirt...

its been missing for a few months now.

I thought of where I couldve miss placed it, but then I remembered...I had given it away, over 3 months ago...

I sighed and ended up wearing a black muscle shirt.

**4 hours later**

I heard my phone ring as I played my piano.

I picked it up and answered it.

"hello?"

"hey! jinxx.haven't spoken to you in a while, whats up?" andy said in a cheerful tone. I could sense a smile in his voice.

was he drunk again?

"hey, andy! I've been good.just...uh..on the piano."

"that's good..I guess..what are you doing in a couple of hours?"

I thought for a moment.

"I'm free, man.what did you have in mind?"

"juliet and I want to have a cook out of some sort...and I was hoping you could come" his voice fell silent.

"as long as cc and jake don't eat all the food,I'm in."

both of us laughed.

"cool.we'll make sure of it."

"alright.see you later then?" I said.

"yeah.see ya later" he said right before hanging up.

it was odd that andy called out of nowhere, just to hang out. especially after 3 months of not talking to each other. but then again, this was andy.knowing the odd ball he is, this wouldnt really be the most unusual thing he's done, recently.

**3 hours later**

I started the car and headed towards andys place.

once I got to his front door, I heard loud laughing,on the other side of the door.

I knocked and waited.

a minute later, juliet opens the door holding a plate of hamburgers. "hi, jinxx! come in!" she smiled.

I walked in the kitchen to see jake with straws up his nose and cc stuffing his face with a hamburger.

andy sat in a chair holding his stomach from laughing so hard.

"hi guys!" I said awkwardly.

they all looked at me and smiled.

andy walked towards me.

"ashley couldn't make it..hes got a date or something." he winked.

"cc! stop eating all the burgers!" juliet yelled as she took his plate away from him.
