I was in my room, putting on a pair of leggings, getting ready for the day.

Collin and my dad both had to go out to an auto body shop to get the car fixed and go catch up at a bar or something, and Kennedy is just out somewhere. I feel like she's cheating on my dad, she just seems like the type.

"I wish you had worn those pants to our little date." I turned around and saw Dylan leaning on the doorframe, causing me to slightly jump "They look good on you."

"What do you want?" I asked coldly "I want to finish what we started." He said while standing up all the way and starting to walk over to me.

Thank God Audrey was in the room my dad was staying in, taking a nap.

"Finish what?" I asked "You know exactly what." He said while starting to unbuckle his belt "No, I already told you, I don't wanna do that." "Yeah you do, you just don't want your husband to find out." He was a couple of feet away from me at this point "No, I just don't want to do it. You forced it on me, remember." "You were the one who almost let me go through with it." "Yeah, but I didn't." "Don't lead me on next time, and maybe we won't have a problem." He said "Lead you on? How did I lead you on? I explained the fact that I'm married, only want to be friends, have no interest in dating you or having an affair or whatever, and I never did."

"Look, I don–" "Mommy?" I heard Audrey's light voice "Oh, so I see you have a child." "Just let me go check on her." I said, annoyed "Ok, but come right back." He smirked.

I walked past him fast, not wanting to be near him and felt a hard slap on my ass. I slightly jumped from the pain and heard him chuckle to himself.

I walked into the room we shared and saw Audrey sitting up in the bed.

"What's wrong, sweetie?" I sat down on the edge of the bed "I'm hungry." She rubbed her eyes "You are? Maybe we can go out to eat." I said a little softer "Really?" She said in an excited tone "Shh, shh, maybe." I picked her up from her spot and put her on my hip.

I slowly and silently walked down the hall with her in my arms and almost made it to the stairs when I heard a voice behind me "Where ya goin', babe?" I looked back and saw Dylan, leaning on the doorframe "To make her lunch." He let out a sigh in exasperation "Fine, but you know what's going down right after." He said sternly.

I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs "Mommy, who's that?" She asked "Someone that I don't want you paying any attention to." I said softly.

She rested her head on my shoulder and let out a small sigh.

Audrey was watching TV in the living room while Jack was sitting on the counter next to the stove, watching me cook.

"You got a fat ass, you know." He said "I don't appreciate that, especially since there's a child in the other room." I said, bluntly "I don't care. It's not like she's paying attention to us." "I don't care. She can still hear you and I don't want you here in the first place." "I would have been gone by now if you just gave me what I wanted." He said.

I heard the garage door open and I looked at Dylan with a proud smile while he looked down at me with an annoyed look "I don't think you'll be doing anything to me." I said "Next time, baby girl." He whispered with devilish smirk on his face.

Collin and my dad walked in, holding bags of groceries.

"Hey, Danica... And Dylan?" Collin said a little confused "Hey, I came over to ask you about plays and drills for next week's practice, and Danica said you'd be home soon, so I figured, I'd stay." He lied

I rolled my eyes and went back to making Audrey her lunch.

I hope I never have to see him again.
