(Mike's POV)

Walking out the door, I knew exactly what I had planned. I quickly made a plan while eating breakfast. I was going to pretend to bike to school, when really I'm just ditching. In my school bag, I had packed my supercom and some snacks. Nothing much, just some stuff I though might help my little "adventure" thingy.

I felt so anxious about what I was doing. I just hoped I wouldn't get caught, and that my friends didn't do anything stupid to get me in trouble. They know I wouldn't eat them out. Hopefully they wouldn't do that to me either.

The woods were a bit cold and the leaves were rock solid, crunching beneath my shoes. I walked my bike through the woods once again. I didn't get my hopes all the way up because there was still a possibility she wasn't gonna be out there. And that thought made my stomach turn.

I walked a long way into the woods. So long that I could see the supermarket from where I was. I walked a bit further when something caught my eye. A yellow box. I threw my bike down and rushed over to the boxes. They were semi buried beneath the leaves, but you could still see the yellow. I picked each box that was now flattened up. I read the packaging. Eggos.

I slowly placed the boxes carefully away from where I was examining the area. There was some long tree branches that were propped against the tree. It kind of reminded me of Wills fort in his woods. I crawled in as far as possible, to see nothing. I crawled back out. I slowly took some breathes and started to move some leaves. There wasn't a single bit of information I could find in that tree fort. Nothing.

About 3 minutes later, I slowly got up, still facing the tree that stood among me. *crunch* *snap* I jumped. I turned around slowly, my jaw wide open, scared of what I might see. Once my body was fully turned around, my eyes couldn't believe what they're seeing. My head didn't believe it.

She's right there. Eleven. El. My El.
