(Nancys POV)
I sat there, trying to aid the crying girl. Eleven just sat there, scared out of her mind. I did tell her all about this though, I wasn't sure why she was scared.
"El, El! Calm down.", I grabbed the side of her shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. This is normal!"
"...it is...?", She stopped crying, but her cheeks were tear stained.
"Look, I'm gonna help you, okay? You will be alright. I promise."
Her face went from sad to extremely happy in two seconds. I felt great for making her happy again.
"Okay, look, I have something you can use. And-and my mom!.... she can buy you more, okay?"
"Of what...", We were sitting in my room now.
"You'll see."
I ran to the bathroom, and checked in my the cabinet where I keep them. I grabbed a few. I was quickly back in my room now, Eleven sitting in a criss-cross position. She seemed way less scared than the last time I'd seen her. Hmm.
"Here.", I handed her a few pads and a few tampons. She looked at both of them, quite interested in each.
"What are these fo--"
"Look.", I grabbed one of the pads, "You unwrap this one, and stick it to your underwear. Get it?"
She nodded, "But what is this one for?"
"That one you don't need until you're ready.", I wasn't sure how I wanted to tell her.
"Ready...?"
"Look, so, this one goes inside of you. I'l show you when you're older, but for now, just stick with the pad. Got it?"
"Yeah, Nancy. Thank you. You're the best sister in the world!", She hugged me.
"Sister?", I was kind of happy that she called me that.
"Yeah. Mike told me you would be like a new sister to me."
"Cool. Thanks, Eleven."
"El."
"Oh, sorry El.", I smiled and she shot another one back at me.
This felt great. It felt so great in so many ways. I was super glad that I got that conversation over. It wasn't exactly weird, I was just scared of her reaction. And, it feels great to finally have the little sister that I never thought I'd have. Sure, I have baby Holly, but she won't be old enough for any of this until after I move out. I love El. She's gonna be a great little sister.
