(Mikes POV)
"Ay, Nance!", I said, ready to throw something at her.
"Wha-", I threw a wad of paper, which three minutes ago, had been my homework from last week. I laughed hysterically as I was ready to get out of the car.
"MIKE! I'm gonna ge--", I slammed the car door shut.
I hated school. Except for one subject. Social studies. I loved that class. Especially my new teacher, Mr. Paulson. He's a great teacher, and is really nice to me and my buddies.
I walked in, obviously late. My second subject was math, which I of course hated. Lucas and Will had sat in the back today, leaving a spot open for me. I rushed to them, relieved. Dustin wasn't in our second hour this year, sadly. He has English.
"Late again, Mikey?", Mr. Paulson called.
"Uhhh, yeah. Sorry, I promise I won't do it again.", I was bright red at this point, nervous and embarrassed.
"Alright. Just open your notes and copy off of Will's paper, okay?"
I nodded.
"Dude, you'll never believe what happened this morning!", Will said.
"What?"
"WILL GOT A--", Lucas was interrupted by the teacher.
"Lucas, one more time and you'll be switching seats with Allison."
"Sorry.", Lucas said.
"But anyways....", Will said whispering a bit.
"Go on.....", I said moving my left hand in a circle while righting.
"I GOT A DATE TO THE SPRING FLING!!!!", Will said, immediately covering his mouth after.
"Do I need to move one of you?"
"NO!", We all said in unison, looking up.
And this, is an average day for me and the party. I'm always late, Will and Lucas always manage to get yelled at, though it's always just Lucas, and as always, one of us gets moved. That didn't happen today, surprisingly.
"Who is it?", I said leaning in closer.
"Jennifer Hayes.", I was shocked.
"Welcome to the world of girls.", I said.
He laughed a little.
"Great job!", I said whisper yelling.
"Thanks, man!"
And now, Will byers had a girl of his own. Well not technically, but you know what I mean. There's y good news of the day. Congrats to Will.
