You woke up to an empty side of the bed, you slid your arm and felt the cold sheets in your skin, he must be up for a while now, you thought. You were making your way to the bathroom all covered in sheets when Dean entered the room with coffee and donuts. The smell of breakfast made you turn around and sat on the bed again.
                              - "Hey beautiful" he said with a smile giving you a kiss on your lips. You didn't understand a damn thing, of course after last night a kiss like that wasn't that weird but it still made your head spin. "Want some coffee?".
                              - "Please..." you let the smell of coffee wake you up and you chuckled a little.
                              - "What?" he asked as he noticed your smile.
                              - "I was just remembering..." you took a sip of your coffee "the look on that guy's face one you beat him" he cracked a smile too.
                              - "I wasn't going to let you go with that ass".
                              - "I'm glad you didn't" you smiled at him. You felt like you needed to talk about what had happened but you didn't know how to address it either.
You and Dean were great friends, probably one of the closest you ever had and over those weeks you and Sam were together, your friendship was on point. You always felt bad for having to let him go too and there were even times that you missed him like hell.
"Hey Dean... sorry about last night" you quickly let out, he looked at you weird.
                              - "What are you talking about?".
                              - "Yeah you know, every time I drink tequila I'm a whore" you joked. He sat next to you tuckling your hair behind your ear. "I'm sorry, it was just... I wanted you to know that that it didn't mean anything to me". He took a deep breath and shook his head mad.
                              - "Alright then" was all he responded.
                              - "Dean... you know what I mean" you approached him.
                              - "No, it's fine really. I get it" he replied so mad and so heartbroken.
                              - "What I meant" you said looking at his eyes "was that you... just treat me like any other one night stand you ever have. You don't have to be all sweet and romantic with me, I don't expect you to be that guy" you tried to explain and he smirked.
                              - "You think this is romantic?" he pointed out the breakfast.
                              - "Yes, very. Every girl's dream" you chuckled. "I'm going to shower, be right back".
You went to the bathroom to shower. You let the water run through your body and think about everything that had just happened and try to figure out what the hell you wanted. Dean was great? Yes, he really was. You had a great time with him and you always had a great chemistry together but you weren't sure how you'd feel with Sam around. After all, he was actually the first and probably only man you ever truly loved in your life. You dated a few guys over the years but never felt as right as things felt with him. Except for last night, with Dean.
Things were confusing and you wanted to walk out the door and never look back but you weren't going to do that, you had spent way too much time already escaping from the good things in life. You just had to figure things out without hurting anyone, not even yourself.
Dean went outside to check on his brother. He was a bit worried about telling him he had run into you but he had to, it was the right thing to do.
                              - "Hey Sammy, how's everything?".
                              - "Hey man. Still nothing on Amara. You? How the case went?".
                              - "Great.. just great..." he paused, he was nervous, he didn't know how to say this, much less eventually telling him that he was having some sort of feelings for you, 9 years after him leaving you. "I ran into (Y/N)... (Y/N) (Y/LN), remember her?" he finally let out.
