You and Sam headed to the crime scene in the Impala, Dean wasn't feeling like going and you couldn't blame him. Parking the car, you saw two men rolling a cart with a dead body covered with a black tarp. The sheriff was already there with a worried look on his face.
                              - "Sorry I woke you up fellas" he said as both of you approached him.
                              - "No, no, it's all right. Just, uh, why don't you tell us what happened here?".
                              - "Deputy Harris didn't show up for work this morning. We called but nothing so, I swung by here. I found his wife on the kitchen floor. She... It looks like he shot her point-blank in the face. Then left the scene".
                              - "Did you notice anything off about Deputy Harris behavior the last couple days?" you asked.
                              - "No. Nothing at all".
                              - "When was the last time anyone heard from him?" you questioned.
                              - "Called in for the last time yesterday. Said something about... seeing some fog rolling in. I don't know why he cared about the damn weather".
                              - "Would you get into contact with your dispatch officer? Tell her to let us know if she gets any more reports like that again" Sam ordered to the sheriff but he wasn't liking it.
                              - "You serious?" he questioned confused.

- "Yeah, just to be safe" Sam replied flat tonned.
                              - "And do you have any idea where Harris might be now?" you intervined.
                              - "No. But we can track her vehicle from our office".
You headed back to the Impala, you grabbed Sam's arm before he entered.
                              - "Sam, you need to get Dean. I'll go with the Sheriff to the station to find this guy. I don't want him all drunk around town when this killing fog can strike up any minute" you said worried.

- "You're right" he nodded. "And (Y/N)?" you turned to meet your eyes with his.
He placed both of his hands on your face and gave you a sweet kiss with everything he got. You ran your fingers through his hair as the kiss continued a little more.
He pulled away to look at you with a smile. "Just in case" he stated, kissing you one last time before entering the Impala and leaving to get Dean.
The sun was coming up by the time you got to the Sheriff's office, you were helping him out to find this guy.
                              - "Sheriff? Matt and Emmy just called in. They said they saw some fog rolling in by Jasper Hills" an officer interrupted you which made you nervous knowing the boys were still out there.
                              - "Did they say where it was headed?" you spoke up.
                              - "Towards town" he nervously replied.
                              - "Okay, call them back, tell them to get inside, shut their windows or doors and seal them up, and stay the hell away from that fog. Then get the word out to everybody in town. They need to do the same damn thing" you inmediatly order him standing up and dialing your phone.

- "Hold on. What are you talking about?" the Sheriff asked confused.
                              - "We've seen this before, okay? Wes, Deputy Harris were infected by something in this fog. Now, I know it sounds crazy..." you replied with your phone still on your ear. Sam wasn't answering. "Dammit" you exclaimed calling him again and using the computer trying to find Deputy Harris.
"Found him" you let out as, finally, Sam was picking up the phone. You let the Sheriff take your place on your computer as you talked to Sam.
                              - "Where the hell are you? You need to get here right now. The fog's coming to town" you let out.
