Chapter 6 pt 3

"Lily!!! WAKE UP!!" Mark yells, and then laughs.

"Okay okay IM UP! Jesus, how are you even a morning person??" I leave to get dressed.

"I have to be, I'm in 3 different groups.. "

After Mark's mom giving a long speech about how she's proud of both of us, we finally arrive to the building to meet up with one of Sm's staff members. Mark says that she's very nice and she can help to get me started with everything.

"Okay Mark, now that no ones here, you can tell me. What made them choose me? Did you lie?" I whispered.

"No!! Lily they really like your poems!! and.." He looks down.

"And what???"

"I convinced them, and so did the other boys!!" We walk inside the room.

Something tells me that he was going to say something else.

"Hello sweetheart, I'm Lyn hun, I'll tell you everything about your job and what we'll expect from now. Take a seat dear!!"

Mark leaves to his members. What sucks is,  I wanted to see them first. Oh well. This is the main reason I'm here.

"First, I want you to tell me about how you feel. Do you think you'll benefit us??" She asks.

"Y-yes, I can come up with things on the spot, and make it rhyme, in both Korean and English..." The lady giggles.

"Oh my, that's not what I meant!! I mean, just being here and working with us. Would you bring a positive attitude??"

This seems more like a interview, than an official job. Is there a twist to this that I don't know about??

"Of course!! Why would that be a problem?" I reply.

"Because, Lily, we are very busy people, and we don't like it when workers complain about being tired, or when they don't put in enough effort in what they're doing.You want to keep this job don't you?"

"Yes, yes I do. Don't worry unnie, it won't be a problem. Although I don't know what I'll do when there's also school to worry about."

She grins.

"That's why we aren't going so hard on you. You're a wise girl, I can tell."

After that long (and creepy) interview, Mark brings me to the practice room, and I greet all the boys again.

"LILY!!!" They all shout.

"She's back~ yay!! Mark, let's hang out with her tomorrow, hmm?" Haechan says, and the other boys nod.

"Well... Okay. Only because, she's my best friend." He smiles at me.

It's good to see Mark being less serious when it comes to these things. Maybe he's just loosening up.

For now, I have nothing to do but watch them practice their Chewing gum dance.

"We have another show next week, so I thought if we practice a few more times ,we'll improve." Mark says.

"Lily, why don't you film us?" Chenle suggests.

"Huh....?" My mind goes blank. Isn't there someone else for that job?

"Our cameraman is sick today, so you can do it, since you're the only one here. I mean, if that's fine with you."

I nod, and I take the camera that lays on the table.

Now, I hold it, but when the boys start to dance, I gaze at Jaemin the entire time. But I didn't even REALIZE until half way, so I stop and I make sure the cameras focused on all of them.

"Wow noona, this isn't so bad!! None of us are cropped out!!" Jisung says, while he watches the tape.

"Lily, who do you think danced the best?" Jeno questions.

"W- what?" I can feel my face turning a bit red.
"Well... I think you're all really good! There's no advice I can give you cause all of you are great!!"
They all clap and nod.

"Maybe she can be the camera lady as well!" Haechan cheers.

"She'll be too exhausted then, don't say that~"

Ugh. That voice. Which I can never get over. I don't know what to say when he talks.

"Lily..??" Jeno waves his hand.

"Huh? What happened??" I look up surprised, and they laugh at me.

"You're attention span is so little!!" Mark says.

At least, tomorrow will be much more fun. I can get to know the boys better.
