"I'm sooo proud Lily!!! Look at your paycheck!!" My mom squeals. All we have to do is change the currency to Canadian, so I can actually use it.

"Now, I just have to catch up with everything I missed at school." I said.

Ray was coming over today, so we could "talk". She still wants to know, about, Jaemin.

"Ray!!" I hug her when my mom opens the door.

"Hello dear," my mom says.

"Hi!! Omg Miya!! Haven't seen you in a month!!"

"Hi!! I'm in grade 7 now. And I'm the most popular girl in my class," she brags.

"Is it because you told them you knew a celebrity?" I asked.

"No, I KNOW a celebrity. I even took pictures!!"

"Your friends know Nct that well?" -Ray

"No, but I convinced them that it makes me popular." I burst out laughing.
"Oh Miya, when will you learn..."

"Ahem." Ray says.

"What???" I ask.

"Um, let's go to your room and talk !! Duh!!" Miya looks puzzled as we go upstairs.

"So... Lily..." She says.

"Ray," I reply.

"YOU HAVE TO TELL ME !! Stop playing games!! I'm your best friend Lily Yeon, don't even think about deny-"

"Say it louder will you??  My family is downstairs!! Ray really needs to whisper sometimes.

"Why didn't you tell me about your crush??" She whispers; Finally.

"Because," I whisper back,
"I didn't tell anyone."

"So?? I don't care about anyone, I'm RAY!!" She replies. I laugh.

"Okay, Ray, as long as you never mentioned it in front of anyone else, and you don't message me about it, and you don't make it obvious subtle hints..."

"Just tell me oh my god!! I'm DYING to know!!" She says.

"Fine, fine. He's in NCT dream."

"Duh!! They're the only boys that are LEGAL for you!!" She grins. "But which one?"

"I can't tell you that!!" I reply, but then I add "I'm kidding."

"Can I guess?" -Ray

"Sure. That sounds better then me telling you flat out."'

"Okay hm.. Well, it's not Jeno because I already called him, he's my bias.."

"Correct. It's not," I smile.

"It's not Jisung, I don't think you're in to younger guys.."

"correct."

"Is it Chenle?" She asks.

"Nope. You got three hints. Now we can stop talking about it. How was school without me?"

"Fine. I think I know who it is anyways. She smiles.
"And school is okay. I just talk about Exo though. Lol oops."

"Classic Ray," I add.
"But who do you think I like?" I ask her.

"Nono, you said I had three hints. I'm not saying anything. And, it's so obvious. I know why you didn't tell anyone."

"...Why?" Now I'm suspicious."

"Because," she says.

"Because...?"

"It's Mark." She smiles.  "Don't worry Lily, your secret is safe with me."

I want to say something, but then she'll know it's Jaemin...

"Am I right?"

"Um.. Yeah..."

"I knew it!!! God, you two would be so cute together!! You've known him for so long, and you lied saying he's like a "brother" Yah right!! That's why you didn't tell anyone!! You can't tell Mark you like him!! Plus, I bet you guys kissed in Seoul. Hm? Am I right about that?"

I try not to cringe. Is she being serious or does she just want me to admit I like Jaemin??

"No we didn't," I add. Although, Mark is suddenly nicer to me around the boys now.

"Not yet," she says. "I ship Mark x Lily soo hard, MILY ❤️" she yells.

"Ray!! Shhh!" I cover her mouth.

"Haha, sorry..." -Ray

"So.. When is the next time you're going to Korea?" She questions.

"Depends..my mom said twice a month minimum, but I'll go when Mark updates me about it. He's the only reason I have the job."

"Awww!! Couple goals!!"
