CHAPTER 11- SUMMER TIME IS PARTY TIME

Few weeks ago, Jessie and Patrick announced that they were engaged. They had the engagement Party at the Bernardo’s/ Lizzie is actually looking forward that her sissy and her kuya Pat be married soon. She has nothing against him anyways. She was the Maid of Honor of course, Patrick’s bestfriend is the BestMan since he was an only child. She’s busy helping her sister with the wedding preparations, from the gowns of the sponsors to the invitations, to the venues and everything! May wedding coordinator naman, but they wanted to be hands on to this special day. Dream wedding nila tong magkapatid. Steven’s mom and dad is one of the godparents of the couple. They made sure the wedding will be simple, but elegant. 

Few weeks before the wedding, the sisters made sure the finals details of the wedding was all set! Hindi siya nakasama sa Bridal Shower kahet siya ang Maid of Honor, Minor pa daw kase siya. 

Two days before the wedding, Steven invited her out. She was hesitant at first because she’s too busy, but Steven asked for a few hours with her.

L: san ba tayo pupunta?

S: Relax, ibabalik kita on time. You were just too busy na nakakalimutan mo na ko eh.

L: hindi kaya, anytime naman pwede kang pumunta sa bahay, saka two days na lang, d ka pa nag antay, magkikita din naman tayo sa wedding ni Ate.

S: can’t wait that long.

L: san nga tayo pupunta? Pinark ni Steven ang sasakyan niya sa may park sa village nila. lumabas sila sa kotse, may kinuha si Steven sa back compartment ng sasakyan, food and drinks.) ano to?

S: picnic sa park.

L: at night? I can’t believe it!

S: dba this is your favorite hang out place? This will be nice. Just like the old times. (nilatag niya ang blanket at nilagay dun ang food and drinks nila. Umupo siya habang nakatingin lang si Lizzie sa kanya. Niyaya niya itong maupo.)

L: you’re really unbelievable! (sumunod ito sa kanya)

S: I know you're tired too, with the wedding preparations and all. So naisip ko to give you a little treat. Hope you like it.

L: I do…thank you.

S: ikaw naman kase mas busy at excited ka pa sa wedding ng sister mo kesa sa kanya. 

L: coz we share the same dream wedding. Hindi man ako ikasal, at least I experienced kung papano magprepare ng wedding.

S: pag kinasal ka ba, ganyan ka din ka hands on? baka naman hindi.

L: siempre oo no. kung ikakasal ako.

S: bakit naman hindi ka ikakasal, I think that would be impossible. Inabutan siya nito ng slice ng pizza.)

L: you can never tell. (sabi nito habang kumakain)

S: so tell me Lizzie, what’s your ideal guy?

L: I don’t have any ideal guy, well before meron, I have my preferences, ngayon wala na, for as long as he loves me and I love him, it’s fine. 

S: is Michael your first boyfriend?

L: yup! Why?

S: wala naman, I feel sorry for you, siya pa yung first heart ache mo. You don’t deserve him.

L: he’s not my first heartache. 

S: what do you mean? (alam niya siya ang tinutukoy nitong first heartache niya, pero gusto niya kay Lizzie manggaling)

L: wala naman, basta someone, broke my heart before, or I just thought he did, pero hindi naman pala, he has his reasons… 

S: and you understand him?
