Be Anymore Obvious, Could You? (Alex Gaskarth Fan Fiction)

Chapter Thirteen

We all arrived in Brisbane and we are going to see the Steve Irwin’s zoo. I’ve always wanted to go because I used to love watching Steve Irwin but when he died I literally cried for about a few days (A/N True fact I loved that Australian even when it happened when I was 7/8).

We got in and looked at the animals and I smiled seeing a petting zoo. Jenna and I really want to go but the guys wanted to go and see the big animals that were on the other side of the zoo but we pulled them over.

We walked into a goat pen and I brushed this goat and it was the cutest thing ever. The lady that was looking out for them told us to stroke under the neck because that makes them fall asleep and it actually did. (A/N this happened when I went to Wichita in Kansas or Arkansas I can’t remember and that’s what the goat lady said and it was the awesome thing ever). I giggled and I got a picture and smiled putting it as my wallpaper on my phone and sent it to Amelia but she will probably see it in the morning Baltimore time. We all petted other animals and I fed a donkey as I laughed at the noise it was making.

We walked round the park in a few hours and in the middle we ate some food. Alex and I walked somewhere quieter and as we held hands and laughed with each other we heard camera noises and we turned round and saw paparazzi. We ran somewhere quieter as we hid behind the big door as the paparazzi ran forward and soon we were alone again. “I’m sorry that doesn’t really happen.” Alex apologised.

“Its fine Alex least we’re alone again.” I smiled and kissed his nose. We looked round and saw it was the penguin bit and there was a show going on. We watched the penguins do tricks and one dived off the diving board and I squealed at the cuteness. Alex holds my waist and pulls me into his side and kissed my head as I smiled against his chest. We watched the end and soon it was the seals and it was funny clapping and a person was going round with the seal and pointed at me. (A/N I’ve never been so I’m making some of this up as I go along). I pointed to myself and the lady smiled and cheered me as I got up from my seat and walked towards them. I waved to the seal and he waved back as I awed at the cuteness again. I knelt down as the lady told me to and seal gave me a kiss and I squealed was going to kiss the seal on the cheek but it moved and kissed on my lips. “Cheeky.” I winked and the crowd laughed. I pet his head and walked back to my seat and she picked someone else. I sat down and Alex put me on his lap.

“No one is allowed to kiss you beside me,” he winked and I smirked and I pecked on his lips and he smiled. “You taste like fish.” he said and I giggled.

“It’s not my fault.” I said and he laughed and we continued watching the show.

We found the others at the kangaroos bit and walked to the crocodile bit and there was a picture of Steve Irwin on the wall of the enclosure and I saw his daughter Bindi walking along the park smiling and taking pictures with people. I walked over to her and asked her for a picture and she smiled as we all posed in the picture and separate ones too.

We finished looking at the zoo and got back to the venue while the guys do sound check. Jenna and I were at the back as she braided my hair. “So, how are you and Alex doing then?” she asked.

“Not bad we are going to give this marriage work really,” I smiled.

“That’s great when are you speaking to that marriage therapist lady?”

“When we first get to Europe but I might text her and say forget about it because we don’t need it anymore,” I said and quickly texted her knowing Alex would be fine with it. I got an instant reply saying that’s its fine. I shouted to Alex about it and he said it was fine so we were great.

“Well that’s good are you still going to get a divorce though?” she asked and I thought about it.

“Yeah because we would like to do a fresh start you know? I’ve never really talked about it with him yet,” I said.

“Yeah and here you go,” she said and I looked at the braid with the mirror and gave her a thanks hug.

“I don’t know what’s going happen after Sydney when we leave each other; I’m really going to miss you.” I said sadly.

“Awe don’t worry we will still keep it contact definitely!” she beamed and I nodded my head grinning giving her another hug.

After a few hours the show finished we all got back onto the bus and we played Uno because the TV wasn’t working and Vinny the merch guy tried to fix it while Alex, Jack, Rian, Zack and I played Uno. “Uno.” Rian said having one card.

“Uno.” Zack, Alex and I said and Jack still had 6 cards.

“Seriously guys, why do I always suck at this game.” Jack whined and we laughed. We played it until Vinny fixed the TV and the guys played some games while Alex and I were in our bunk looking at the ceiling.

“It’s crazy to think that we were at each other’s throats and now look at us,” Alex said playing with our fingers.

“I know it’s weird but it’s cool also,” I said.

“I really like you and I think I might love you Lisa,” he said and I smiled but thought for a minute Lisa?! I looked at him and he looked strange until he covered his mouth. “I’m sorry Katie I uh- I didn’t-“

“Shut it Alex I thought we were going to work but not now, I’m sleeping on the couch.” I said and got out the bunk and stormed into the back lounge to see Jack playing on the guitar.

“Hey Kat- what’s happened?” Jack asked and I sat beside him emotionless looking at the floor.

“Alex said that he *sniffle* loves Lisa and not me,” I didn’t know that I was crying but now I wiped the tears away. Jack cuddled me to his side and kissed my forehead and it just remembered from the today. I cried into his chest and I texted Emma about the therapy and we still need it.

“C’mon why don’t you sleep on my bunk?” he asked and I nodded my head.

“Where are you going to sleep?” I sniffled.

“On the couch,”

“No you don’t need to do that; I’ll sleep on the couch. I don’t want to intrude-“

“Shut up and let me take care of a friend okay?” he said making me feel a little better and I pushed out a smile. We walked to his bunk and Jack tucked me in like a little child and as he walked away I said:

“Jack please stay?” I felt him crawl in beside me and I slept after that.
