Chapter Seventeen

“Are you okay?” I asked Alex and he nodded his head.

“I think we can perform tonight though,” he said and I smiled.

“Well that’s good. I think that you need to re-think about getting Lisa to come over-“

“Oh not you,” he said and shooed everyone off so it was just us. “Katie I heard what you were saying to Zack today-“

“What how much?” I asked worriedly.

“The whole thing and I’m flattered that you still really like me but my feelings are with Lisa now and now that she’s coming over to tour is the best thing but I just one person to be happy with me,” he said.

“I will never be happy for you Alex. Kiss my ass goodbye.” I spat at him and walked straight to Jack totally regretting walking over there in the first place.

“Jack how are you feeling?” I asked him and he nodded his head.

“I’m still working. Are you okay we watched you talking to Alex.” He said.

“Everything’s okay guys we just had a little tiff and I just want to get away from everyone right now,” I said and they nodded their heads.

“Don’t leave though because we need you around.” Rian pleaded and I laughed.

“I’ll still be here but if it wasn’t for you guys I would be gone long ago.” I said.

It was the night of the concert and I was sitting behind Vinny as he sold the merch as I looked at phone. I was bored out my mind and I didn’t know what to do. “Hey Vinny do you want some help?” I asked, getting out my chair and looking at the merch on the table.

“Yeah please.” He said and we started selling merch and soon the concert started. Vinny and I sat behind the table watching the table from the side view and I kept watching Alex glancing at me and I was confused. “He still does have feelings for you,” Vinny said.

“And how do you know that? He keeps telling me that he has feelings for Lisa,” I mumbled.

“Why does he keep looking over at you then?” he asked and I looked back to see Alex looked away still singing the song.

“I’m not sure he’s just messing my mind up and it makes me want to tear my fucking hair out!” I said quoting Alex. Vinny laughed.

“Oh well I bet that you guys will be the happiest couple at the end of the tour though.” He said and I laughed dryly.

“Yeah right we will be too loved up with Lisa that’s what I’m sure.” Soon the concert finished and people came coming back to buy more.

We all got back into our buses and it was very awkward. Jack and Alex were in separate rooms and Rian and Zack kept moving in between them talking to them both equally and it was hard watching that. Two best friends fight and not talking is a very scary thing but I just want them to sort it out. I got off my ass and grabbed Jack and Alex’s arms and shoved them into the toilet as Rian, Zack and I held the door handle not letting them out. “We will let you guys out when you have sorted it!” I shouted.

We waited a while hearing them speak quietly and soon they knocked on the door as we let them out. “Are you guys good or what?” Zack asked them. They laughed and smiled hugging each other.

“Awe Jalex moment!” Rian squealed like a teenage girl fan as we all laughed.

“Can we watch Home Alone please?” Jack whined.

“I want to watch Peter Pan!” Alex said.

“Katie what do you want to watch?” Rian asked me.

“Can we watch the nightmare before Christmas please?” I asked and they all nodded their heads. We sat round the TV and put the DVD in eating popcorn and drinking beer just a nice way to end the night with hate, love and laughter.
